MasterChef Canada S05 E09 Full Episode: The Top 6 home cooks face a super-charged Restaurant Takeover team challenge at Claudio's Toronto restaurant, Copetin. The teams had to prepare and serve two technically demanding appetizers: octopus a la planche and beef tartare, and two entrées: sea bream and lamb, to a restaurant filled with discerning dinner guests. As the winners of the last challenge, Michael G. and Kaegan were team captains. While the Red Team performed smoothly and effectively throughout service, the Blue Team fell dangerously behind service as Kaegan was overcome with stress. He eventually relinquished his role to Beccy, allowing the Blue Team to catch up. The Red Team was declared the winner. Subscribe: / masterchefworld
Kaegan, Eugene and Beccy had 75 minutes to make 10 macarons with two distinct flavours. Leaving everything down to the wire, each home cook had trouble packaging their macarons, the judges decided that Beccy made the best and was safe. Both Eugene and Kaegan were left as the bottom two, as they both had significant issues in their macarons. The judges decided that Kaegan made the weakest macarons and he was sent home once again.

Gotta give it to Becky here, she stepped up like a boss, quickly adapting to the situation as it unfolds. Even got a field promotion to Team Captain for holding the line as things were going to hell around Blue Team. I could learn alot from that.

Why are they acting like the blue team was down from the beginning, by telling Kaegan the red team already finished the first table? Like yeah, obviously they were faster, the red team's first table had two dishes while the blue team was handling six...

because they should take the same amount of time, doesn't matter how many orders they have (at least that's the usual standard on the food industry) and taking 20 minutes or more for appetizers is wildly a lot of time

From what I've heard (and have not really researched), they have cooking classes between the show tapings. It's never so direct that they know what they're cooking next, but will give them the basics they need to put something together.

They do this thing were they make 3 eliminated people compete for a second chance, they don’t show it but Keagan won (it was like 2 episodes ago I think)

@@yes-tp5lzhe knew Beccy and Kaegan might be butting heads so it was a strategic move and also Nadia and he has worked together in previous team challenges so I guess he just knew she would follow his lead better.

Those one-on-one interviews are conducted after the challenge so obviously Kaegan changed his mind when he saw how Beccy carried the team.
Kaegan is so handsome and smart look but kinda overacting person.
