And, true to Nazi form, Russian soldiers, when confronted say "I was just following orders". When this is over and the whole truth is revealed, the vast majority of the Russian people will say "We didn't know!". Well, that might have been true for many Germans, but you have the internet. @@Manwendlil Ammunition is not abundant, but given that Ukraine now apparently started producing 152mm shells themselves, and countries like Bulgaria with large stockpiles also started producing more, it does seem like its not the primary issue.

Check out hromadske on youtube many brave reporters there. Some have even come under enemy fire and captured the explosions on camera as they were mere feet away when they landed.

This is difficult for me to look at, two of my daughters are doctors in the Ukrainian armed forces near Bakhmut

My tax dollars at work, and my only complaint is that we can't send more, faster. I have a feeling when this is over Ukraine will be teaching the USA a bit about freedom. There is no stronger proponent for freedom than a person who just fought a horrible war for it and lost many good friends. I have so much respect for Ukraine and what they are going through. Great news report. The whole demeanour of the Ukrainian gunner at the start of the clip says it all to me. His cheerful upbeat attitude is just typical of what we see from these people who know they are doing the right thing. We don't actually see many happy smiling Russian faces these days.

I hope these artillery soldiers are provided all the support they need to be successful. Also, even the small things, such as hearing protection, so should they survive into old age, they will still be able to hear their friends and family thanking them for their service to their country in fighting off totalitarianism.

Lightly armed Ukrainians alone fought with the army of USSR for 10 years (1943-1953), while having neither rear territory, nor any support from other countries... Calculate the odds of that. In this war that was ~900 Ukrainian tanks against ~2300 Russian ones. That's more like a joke, not even really a war; Russia has been doomed from day-1. The only problem currently is some lack of artillery (due to overuse of guns), shells, and Russian rockets hitting civilian objects.

@@andriilink5666 it's truly a miracle. When Putin was massing troops in the border. We all thought the war will be over in less than a month. I spoke to some Russians I know and that's what they said.

@Wayne Continum • Only from stationary targets. Missiles from planes & ships require air defense systems with their tracking radar. It's not like the Ukrainians aren't already targeting every ammo & gas depot they can find as well as command & control. I think you're over simplifying the difficulty of defending against missile and drone attacks.

@Thom Gray Artillery is right behind the front line, still on reach of counter battery and potentially tanks. The war is also fairly mobile in some stretches of the front and the front itself is all bendy and twisted so the threat of the enemy is still very high. Going there as press is still dangerous, and it is a brave move. Being a combatant is arguably more so, but it doesn't make it less brave to be the press.

These medias are BS, they were totally absent for the last 12 months, and these reporters are always well away from the real danger, Instead of covering fights, they should be encouraging and forcing the leaders toward the only solution for stopping the misery and dead, a peace treaty. Zelink and azov is sending caucasians soldiers to the front line to die, this is an etnic cleaning. You dont see any slavic soldiers there. It does`nt take much shooting to wear out an artillery piece even a high powered rifle is worn out after about 2500 shots.

This is NATOs war, they overthrew Ukraine and installed their puppet government, the US especially have invested and laundered vast amounts of money there and they want to defend their investment, hence a war.
