chuck Core I think he just got over filming and the pressure. His last part came out before I even started skating, but I remember him still being in ads for a few more years. Now I think he owns skate mental. You gotta remember that when he quit was the stair counting era. Everything was about bigger, longer, higher. A lot of great pros couldn't or didn't want to break themselves for tricks. Other veterans like Koston, Fowler, Templeton, really busted their asses keeping up. And there were just as many younger guys who jumped down one too many big sets and their careers ended early, like Tosh Townend, Scott Kane, Alex Gall, or even Arto Saari. Staba just said fuck it. If you weren't gonna stack gnarly footage, then your board doesn't sell, and you don't make money anyways.
