Can you explain to me how the anglers get to the British Carp Angling Championships? Do they just show up with a team and pay the entry fee or are there qualifiers, maybe a year-long league, or some route they have to take to get to this point? Does this tournament determine who will fish on the country team for the Carp Fishing World Championships? Does the national team have full paid sponsorships or is everything out of the pockets of the anglers? Is it common for teams to have sponsors that pay their way, so the anglers can compete and practice similar to other sports?
