On One Knee with a Used Engagement Ring

Ойын-сауық

The plaintiff says after he started dating the defendant, he encouraged her to pursue her singing career. The first time he missed one of her concerts, the defendant stayed the night at a friend’s house and ignored his calls. The plaintiff is suing the defendant for breach of contract and legal fees after he put up his personal money to support her business and career. The defendant says four months after she started performing again, her relationship with the plaintiff became rocky because he neglected her and proposed to her with his ex’s ring. She’s countersuing for unpaid rent.

A better question, IMO, is does a used ring bought for someone else actually denote a "commitment"? Needy or realistic standards and expectations? I am really disappointed with the judge. It was obvious he put his words into her mouth and garnished her statements to fall in line with an obviously biased judgment. That is why he quickly dismissed her claim also to give a semblance of fairness. Sad.
