I saw Nani palkhivala when i was 21 years (now 53 ) , he came to my native Mangalore for a speach . We as commerce student heard about him about his speaches about anual budget at mumbai on the naxt day of the every budget . Proud about him .

Nani palkiwala was one of the most legendary lawyer india has ever seen ...... He fought the Minerva mills case and reversed the dictaory powers of Indira Gandhi.... The next day newspaper of the case read "the case which saved democracy in india "

What a big IRONY Nani's name never figured in any dubious dealings, whereas Salve's name, as reported in the media, figured in either the Panama/ Paradise papers !!!!!!

First of all he was not tall and next Parsi lawyers have had a strong hold at bar because most of the industry is of Parsis next come Brahmins over 50% of entire Judiciary is of bammans even today.Nani Phalkivala was a good lawyer because he read too much and had lot of clients that’s all.
