The Nakba has been downplayed and misrepresented, time and again, in the mainstream media across the world. And beyond that, it is in fact the official policy of the state of Israel to systemically and consistently deny Palestinian suffering. In fact, the whole Israeli settler colony is built on the denial of the very existence of a Palestinian people, let alone their Nakba.

Clearly that doesn’t mean parents shouldn’t play their part too, but that shouldn’t mean that certain subjects should only be taught at home. I also believe that music education should be part of school and not just confined to parents rich enough to be able to afford instrumental lessons.

Those the government doesn't like & therefore are not receiving state funding. Foreign Agents laws work on the basis of targeting those authoritarian governments see as representing different views. NGOs supporting women's or gay rights, for example. The result will be similar to Russia in that there will be no free media because it will all have been shut down.

I think it’s more a signal to show then non democratic world that they won’t abandon another democracy like Israel. Because what does it say in places like such as Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Ukraine. The world is bigger than Palestine, and the US will always stand against Islamic caliphates like Hamas/ISIS , Communism like China and North Korea, and kleptocracy such as Russia. That’s the problem with Palestinians they are too radical Islamist to garner any global sympathy from an enlightened inspired western world.

Yes, disappointing reporting, both EU and US have similar laws. Moreover the numbers are just crazy, there is over 25k NGOs in Georgia, there are more NGOs per person (approx 1 per 150p) than doctors (7 per 1000). It's an affront to democracy.

Feedback to Novara team: I was watching the segment on Georgia for 15 minutes before it was explained *why* the law is seen as pro-Russia, and what powers it gives the government. I think it's better to explain the nuts and bolts earlier in the segment so we can be on the same page with the people we see giving their opinions.
