This is my presentation on Goethe’s Garden for two pianos tuned a quarter tone apart, which I wrote back in 2016. It is commissioned by the 21st century piano competition at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

영문 강의입니다. 이 강의는 제가 2016년에 쓴 작품인 두 대의 미분음 튜닝된 피아노를 위한 "괴테의 정원"에 대한 내용을 담고 있습니다. 해당 음악에서 저는 카오스 이론과 프랙탈 기하학의 구조를 응용하여 음악적으로 구현하였습니다. 보다 구체적으로는 반슬리의 펀-양치식물의 IFS (재귀 함수 시스템) 확률적 좌표 변환 식을 주파수 도메인에 적용하여 음악적인 나무들을 만들었고, 해당 재료를 바탕으로 두 대의 피아노를 위한 곡을 작곡하였습니다.
