As a drocter, I took the liberty of assessing what exactly makes a Tranghead and a Gorghead, check itout: Phase 1: 10-20 episodes in; You are curious because you know Tim Heidecker is funny, but you’ve never seen him outside of Tim & Eric before. You also have no idea who this unsightly Gregg character is. You start to pick and choose throughout the seasons of episodes where they review some of your favorite films that you know. You skip the ones you don’t know because why would anyone want to watch a review of something they don’t care about. Phase 2: 20-40 episodes in; You’ve settled into the format and start to become comfortable with Gregg. The episodes so far have been funny, but not laugh out loud shit your pants funny. You continue watching because now you’ve realized it’s a quick and enjoyable way to kill 5-10 minutes. Plus you love movies. Phase 3: 40-60 episodes in; Alright, now the show is starting to get funnier and funnier by the minute. You have seen enough now to start to pick up on all the subtle recurring jokes that weren’t funny back in Phase One. You aren’t a total Gregghead or Timhead yet, but you’re getting there. You’ve started to realize that every single idea Tim has is destined to get someone hurt or killed. You might be ready to watch the full highlights of “The Trial”, but if not definitely will be in the next phase. Phase 4: 60-80 episodes in; You suddenly burst in a fit of giggles at the slightest things these people say. From “Hey Guys” to Tim’s name mispronunciations, this show is becoming the best thing to ever happen to you. You are now mentally dedicated to finishing the entire 110 episode series and then some. You might have even gone back and rewatched a few just to fill yourself in on the storyline. Chances are, you’ve randomly selected an episode where Tim is maimed or beaten beyond words and you want to go back and see the slow progression of what got him there. Also, by this phase, you HATE Dr. San. Phase 5: 80-100 episodes in; You have subconsciously begun rating almost everything you see in life on the “5 Bags of Popcorn” scale, even things that don’t have to do with cinema. For myself in this phase, I began rating cars and houses I’d see as “5 Bags of Popcorn” if I really liked them. It just happened automatically. You may be reading this in Phase One and think “that will never happen to me”, but don’t kid yourself, accept it. Depression of the realization that you will soon be out of fresh, never before seen episodes starts to haunt you. You try to stop as to leave some for the future, but you eagerly devour them daily until the final phase sets in. Final Phase: All 110 episodes viewed; Prayers for a full 12th season begin to run through your mind. Memories of all the times Tim yelled or Gregg did a popcorn classic spring into your mind throughout the day to give you a hearty chuckle. The 1,000+ inside jokes are now easy to spot. You are a total Gregghead or Timhead and you feel absolutely included in the On Cinema At The Cinema family. You can’t think of the films Star Trek IV or Oh God! without splitting a side. You develop your own personal “favorite running gag” to comment on or discuss with others in the “family”. Mine being how every episode spans from 5-15 minutes long yet they are ALWAYS concerned about “if they have enough time left” for Gregg’s segments when there is clearly no time limit at all. Welcome to the family! FORYOURHEALGTH!

"i'm counting the 80s as 81 to 90, that's the way decades go"
Gregg's demeanor and hair both imply that he got all sorts of strange over the past week.

I could watch Stump the Buff for hours.
Going back and watching these Gregg really is the antagonist. Who the fuck thinks 1990 is part of the 80s
I love how instead of gloating over Gregg’s failure Tim just seems genuinely disappointed in him
This got funnier when I realized that their on a green screen.
These are the only videos on KZread that I "like" before even watching them. I can hardly even stand how perfectly funny this series is.
Stump the buff is perhaps one of the best bits they've ever done.

Gregg’s expertise is still top-tier
I think this episode goes down as one of the funniest.
Well according to Wikipedia, Steve Martin only made 12 movies in the 1980s. But if you are counting from 1981-1990, then yes, Gregg, he did make 13 movies.

If Tim had worded the questions properly then Gregg would have been able to answer them properly.
gregg's hair is on POINTE greatjob
It's refreshing to see a show where they don't automatically give five bags of popcorn to everything as if every movies equally great. They're not, and this show tells it like it is.
I don't care what happened, Gregg is still the number one film buff in my heart.
It’s beautifully drawn.
RIP to the french guy that cinematographed Popeye, Giuseppe Rotunno
you don't have to be a hootie tootie film critic to love this show
Self-proclaimed "film buff" Gregg can't even spell Richard Dreyfuss, one of the all-time greats. Some expert he is.

Gregg knows movies so well that he circled back to not knowing
I'm so sorry to have to inform you guys: Your theme song needs about 20% more orchestra hits.
I was surprised how smoothly the beginning of this episode was
This is the slowest paced comedy to ever exist
Any film buff knows Giuseppe Rotunno, he also shot the classic, Rent-a-cop
I like how Greg had the patience to take his family and tolerate them not being professional critics
Enjoying some popcorn while watching this episode!
You're my buff!
Obviously we've all seen the Croods. We know that it starts from a place of sadness.
amazing power-play by Tim

This is my favourite On Cinema episode
