In this video I am driving a Class 801 (HITACHI AT300) in 'FNER' livery from Norrington to Avonhill in Fourth Rail's 'British Railway', as Version 1.3 released just yesterday and I decided to have a drive in this new train as it was highly anticipated in the community. However, this video comes with a twist...
I have decided to have some fun and create some LNER-esque onboard announcements! They are partially AI-generated, however the ones that were originally from LNER were released publicly from them, so I am fairly certain I can use them in this video. If they aren't please let me know and I will take it down as soon as possible, but they are by no means perfect, which is why you will be able to hear sudden cuts when it says 'FNER' etc., but I hope you still enjoy! Also note that these aren't actually in-game, they were just made possible with the power of video editing, sorry!

It sounds like the announcer for Express and AirLink in SCR.

that is because the announcer for xpress and airlink in scr is the same announcer on LNER services

@@angusphotographyperth (Technically) Waterline too, as Faye Dicker was one of the train announcers on GWR before Jane-Cooper-Marshall
Honestly that announcement got me thinking of Airlink/Express on-board announcers in SCR
The only thing i would change about this is at interchange stations eg leaton where lines split, you could have an announcement when youve stopped eg "this is leaton. Change here for services to mill bridge, victoria harbour and ashdean" etc

Yes I was thinking about adding them but I realised there wasn't enough time stopped to have the whole announcement playing while stationary.
One way you can make the announcement sound less robotic is by adding different letters (e.g. Avunhill instead of Avonhill. I like the concept and you’ve gained a sub 🎉

Nice video i was expecting this to come in 1.3 because people where saying that the dev would add it in 1.3 hopefully it gets added in 1.4 or 1.5

Search 'LNER Azuma Announcements' and you should find something

They are pretty easily obtainable if you search 'LNER Azuma announcements' but the place names were used with a different tool. Most AI voice TTS websites should be alright for you.

I just found a place where LNER announcements were free to download and used an AI website for the place names. Maybe I will make a tutorial this Sunday, thanks for the idea!

@@liverpooltrains check your game sound, PC sound and check the settings on the screen recorder, on some recording audio is off by default.
