It is great to be fluent in any language but if she is not more fluent in luganda then we have a problem. Inferiority complex remains a problem among Africans because we elevate other cultures and put our own cultures and languages down. I remember in primary school, we used to be shamed for speaking " vernacular." I realize now that I am leaving in the West that even many white people do not speak that great English but somehow we as Africans praise those who speak perfect English. I was waiting for the princess to translate to Luganda naye maama, binsaze. Nze kansomese abaana oluganda okusooka. Ennimi endala zigoberere. This is how we end inferiority complex!!

Ensobi siyabana yade abazade but yabuli omu we have deemed our languages irrelevant depending on how the country has been running since the beginning of presidency we have nothing we do for ourselves like other countries we take from these people each and every and since we did nolulimi telukyagasa we just use it to be proud baganda but it doesn't benefit us in any way now most youths left Uganda to work abroad where is luganda helping them some many countries have different people from different countries that want to learn their language because of who they are yet fe luganda no one even request for it online yet I can teach someone English and gain from it: I have so many reasons to why not only luganda but all our languages became irrelevant and it's about time we except we gain from English but we not gaining from our mother tongue and I don't think we will any time soon so unless we become countries like Japan China Korea Spain Germany France Thailand and many more our mother tongue's are irrelevant Kuba tetuyina na dialects zafe still we use their letters to Wright the luganda you speaking of

I know y’all are about to come for me while writing this, but ima say it anyway. Though she’s articulate and might be fluent in English.We ain’t gonna blame it all on being dyslexic🤦🏾‍♀️. This is what happens when someone else writes your whole discourse. I mean at this point she knows her audience she’d have practiced more to avoid things like reading word for word through the entire speech 😒. I mean nerves come into play with public speaking, we can all say this is a little too much. She has a thing or two she can learn from her MOTHER!
