OMSI 2 | Gainsborough Phase 3 | First Looks | Route 100 | Gainsborough - Lincoln
Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
Well rather surprisingly we've just seen the release of Gainsborough Phase 3, and i'm really excited to take a drive on this route. It has to be said i've never really gotten along with the Gainsborough map, as nothing ever really seems to be happening in this quiet, one horse town.
However this has all changed with the extension of the route 100 through to Lincoln, along with various other improvements throughout. We can finally drive this route the full length all the way through to Lincoln, which comes with a drive on, reverse off bus station... brilliant!!!
Anyway, join me as we drive this glorious route, in the Scania N250UD Enviro400 MMC, and maybe JUST MAYBE.... i'll have my eyes opened to just how good this map is!

Technically Stagecoach Lincolnshire are still called RoadCar as the address still says RoadCar Lincolnshire LTD on the buses..
It's an amazing feeling to catch up on one of favourite KZreadr's videos and see that he's using my repaint.
Glad it's not just me that can't get the bus to reverse 🤣
Great video Joe! a few pointers if I may. 1 at Lincoln bus station when on stand N after you close the doors select "D" then put the bus into "N" then "R" and it will go Only discovered this this evening. 2 all the beeps are to do with your speed and messages on the ticketer. To get to messages press options an the ticketer screen, then press more and messages. BTW congratulations on passing your bus test.

You were saying about engine size and how they can't handle Yorkshire hills Joe, well I remember when a few years ago I got on a 2007/8 Arriva E400 from Whitby to Flask Inn and it was going at such a slow speed out of Robin Hood's Bay, you could faster. I think also be to do with buses nowadays having automatic gearboxes.
Ye, its the Interconnect purple livery. The good old Lincolnshire Road Car Livery is so classic. Sad it isn't used any more except on old buses in the bus museums
I believe that beeping you were hearing is the drive green/green road alerts
Since it it the same map creator - I wonder if we are gonna get the full 100/101 connect service from Scunthorpe - Lincoln via Gainsborough
