Nice video! Won’t be able to drive until I get my PC after Christmas but I’m looking forward to it! also interesting to note that the Envrio200 MMC, London Spec ALX400, Optare Spectra can also be used on the map so that makes it more interesting. I think the Streetlite and Gemini 3 can be used aswell not sure

The MMC is appalling on hills so I imagine it’s good on the flat

@@JoeDobsongaming Yea it does seem like it, that’s the problem of a limited budget though, I’m sure I’ll play add on London a bit more though, with already 2000+ base game hours (a bit concerning). I do hope aswell that the regional variants do get released

Oh absolutely! Well it turns out turning my graphics settings up really helped performance as you’ll see if you watch my new EvoSeti video which may or may not have finished uploading by the time you read this 🤣

@@JoeDobsongaming I just had a quick drive of the NB4L and Evo-SETI, both are really smooth, slightly prefer the Volvo oomph of the B5lh though. I couldn’t seem to get the c400 to work though, the electrics just refused to start up

Yeah I had a bit of an argument with the C400 haha! We’re just doing a 159 down to Streatham in a NB4L 🥰

FYI (if you've not realised by now lol) when you said "I'm sure I heard the request bell", on the HUD on the dashboard, when the bell is pressed a bell icon appears in the top left hand corner to notify you that the bell has been pressed and someone wants to alight :)

@@JoeDobsongaming Haha I shall search Amazon (other e-sellers are available) today for a DeLorean ;) oh and also, as a Kent native but about 15 miles from Central London, I can confirm that drivers pulling out and not giving way is standard practice for anyone driving in Central London or Greater London lol

E for electrics, let them set themselves up with the "fire system pressure okay" voice, then M.... pause for about 5 seconds, then M again. Double check you're definitely in neutral with the handbrake on otherwise it won't work :) Hope that helps!!

OMSI 2 performance is somewhat inversely proportional to PC hardware specs and if there was ever any optimisation, it was limited to its release timeframe. The sweet spot is around 2013/2014, so an older i7 Haswell would actually perform better than the more recent Coffee Lakes. It's an ancient engine that was barely patched to support multithreading and high core count CPUs. You could try to turn of multithreading support, or reduce the number of tiles being loaded to just immediate neighbours, but truth be told, this game is on its deathbed and attempting to optimise it is a wasted effort. Doesn't look like LOTUS is going to be much better, either, but I haven't tried it yet.

Absolutely! I made my performance a lot better by turning the graphics UP 🤣 which I find a little odd

Abellio London sometimes the handle is red sometimes it’s yellow

On my PC, omsi 2 London keeps lagging, do you know why?

That’s a difficult one to answer George as there’s so many reasons. Have you got “multi threading” ticked near the “load all tiles” in the settings? If so untick it, it helped me

The announcements automatically play If you have a timetable selected and load the route with the mobitech display 😄

Lots of buses have different types of displays, but every bus on addon London has mobitech 😄
