Mechatronic Solutions was recently approached to facilitate collaboration between Dorner Conveyors and Omron Automation.
The process involved mounting a Dorner 2700-Series DC-powered conveyor to the top of an Omron LD90 Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR). The Dorner conveyor provides a controller with speed and direction settings, and the onboard I/O of the Omron LD provides the trigger to control conveyor motion.
