Same. I’m not really that self-aware of my emotions, so in order for me to really realize how I feel it kind of just has to hit me all at once. It was the library room with his old memories of his friends in the books that did it for me. I really miss doing normal things with people.

Crossroads breaks my heart especially. For whatever reason it makes me wanna cry and reminisce the good times of when I was young and innocent- before I was where I am now. Omori has really changed the way I perceived a lot of things to be honest- it made me care a lot more about trying to think more about the present rather than the future. It taught me to enjoy the time I have with my friends now as much as I can before it all comes to a stop. All good things have to end at some point, and I'm almost 18, meaning that things will definitely be coming to a stop pretty soon. I know this sounds kinda edgy, and no one will see this and whatever, but please, to those who are excited to grow up/want to rush to become older/more mature- don't. You don't want to lose the time you have now. Spend time with your friends, family, pets, anyone really- and create good memories together. Sorry if my wording is strange or my grammar is weird. I'm extremely tired and emotional right now. To those who do see this, I wish you luck. Stay safe, and take care

it sure will! i listen to it with my adoptive/chosen family of about... nine people as background music! we like it a lot. though i have a feeling i will be oh-so nostalgic eventually. oh-so sad. when the lights dim out, when the hospital beds arrive... it will bring so much heartbreak one day to recall the fond memories made to some of these songs. so much nostalgic, bittersweet heartbreak.

(TW for this comment) The OMORI OST is absolutely amazing. A lot of the soundtracks remind me of good childhood memories up until OMORI and DUET start playing. The OMORI track reminds me of when I had a gut feeling back in early 2021. DUET reminds me of when my gut feeling became reality because in early February of 2021, my brother passed away in a car crash under the influence of drugs. Just before I turned 15 too. I regret not being able to get closer with him and it's a deep regret and guilt that I have felt since he passed away. I just wish that I could go back in time and fix it. I'm 16 now, it's been a year and a few months since he's been gone and I still regret everything. But I know he's watching over me and keeping me safe. I'm glad that he's not suffering anymore, his demons are gone and his addiction is no longer a problem for him. I'll always love him and miss him with all my heart. 831. I love sharing this with others, you wanna know what that symbolizes? 8 letters, 3 words, 1 meaning, and it's "I love you." I wish everyone happy memories and a bright future! Man loosing someone is really hard. I lost my dad when I was around 6-7 from lung cancer, and it’s really hard to transition to being able to cope with loss. I’m glad you were able to come to terms with his passing, I have too! To anyone experiencing the trauma of loosing someone; it’s okay to feel devastated, and you don’t have to cope immediately. Take your time, find what makes you happy, enjoy simple things, and decide how you are going to deal with the loss. The way me and my mom had dealt with it was by starting our lives over, we moved across America, California to New York. It probably won’t be as big as that, but find ways to remember them, but not have it linger over your shoulder all the time. It’s okay to get emotional about it sometimes, I still do to! But don’t try to let it haunt you, to move on is something we all learn.

For some reason "By your side" gives me a nostalgic feeling, i love this playlist.

It's sad, but I find it beautiful in some way since he finally saw through the illusions of his dreams in headspace and is on the path to accept the truth and forgive himself. It's a battle. Between Omori, who wants to protect Sunny from the pain, and Sunny, who wants to overcome and be in peace.

I think it would make more sense if Sunny goes catatonic and stays in headspace forever after Omori wins instead of killing himself because Omori’s main function is to protect Sunny not kill him and he does that by keeping him away from reality.

This is the only game to make me sad enough to cry. The characters were memorable, Kel is the best one, Sunny’s story is sad, and I want to know if the gang forgives Sunny. Great game, 50/10.

(little vent)Reading these comments make me feel like im not silly for saying omori changed my life, i honestly am a different person with this game. Im a 15 (almkst 16)year old right now, and i was 13(almost 14) when omori came out. I found it right whne it came out and learned duet on piano, but i never got super intk the game so i never undertood the impact of duet. I later got into the game and it change my perspective on so many things. Ive always struggled with mental illness, and seeing this game deal with all these things made me feel less alone. It make me realize that im not a freak, that im not different for feeling the way i do, that im not alone. Now i have a pretty good life, i have good friends and a best friend whose like a sister to me, i have a reallt good home life with wonderful parents and siblings who love me, im not super wealthy, but im not financially struggling, i have good pets, and im truly blessed. So for a long time, i thought "well what do yoy have to be sad about? U dont have the right to feel bad" and i felt guilty for having a mental illness, but seeing how sunny and basil have such loving people in their lives and they still feel the way they feel, made me feel good, like, its okay to feel like that, becuase it makes you grateful for all the good things you have. Anyways, truly omori helped me through a lot of things and i love how other people can relate to that too. Thank you for anyone that read this, and i hope that you have a wonderful day and if youre struggling, please reach out to someone, or even jjst reply to this comment venting, just please, please reach out if you need help. I've just discovered Omori mid last week and I'm in love with it. I've already spent 19 hours on my first playthrough, which I'm still on. I can't wait to replay it for the other endings to choose from. It's made me cry, happy and feel warm inside most of this time. A game impactful as this is one that's going to stay with me a long time, and I am so excited for that, I love the music, the art, the story so far has been hitting me in the heartstrings (which is good) , the gameplay and combat, the scenery, concept and whole interactions with everyone and thing has made this such a beautiful journey!

my boyfriend introduced me to this game and we played it together around one year ago....we had a really great time together...we are not together anymore, so whenever i hear omori's ost i get a very heavy heart not just because of the game itself but because i get reminded of all those memories with him.....i wish i could go back to that time... i was happy .....miss you foobar283 :"(

I'm listening to this at the psych ward. The authentic Omori experience.

Gonna ramble here, don’t mind me! It’s been a while since I last listened to this. A little over a year now I suppose. I remember I’d play it on repeat while doing my virtual schoolwork. Things were simpler back then. I know I’m in the minority with this, but honestly I really preferred virtual schooling. I have a lot of health problems that get much worse when I’m anxious, and at home I generally have less anxiety. I loved being able to take things at my own pace, and I made better grades then. I remember I was just getting into a new friend group that my best friend introduced me to. My best friend’s name is Mari, and in that group we have a Kelsay and a Sun, which is pretty ironic and made me smile a lot during my Omori hyperfixation back then. I was really obsessed with Basil, and his character ended up getting me into gardening and photography. A have a photo album of my friends’ antics, just like him. Nowadays I’m too depressed to get up and take care of my plants, they’ve been dead on my windowsill for months. I don’t take pictures of my friends anymore, it’s not the same. I don’t know how to describe it, perhaps it’s because they all have new friends, and I don’t get to see them often anymore. Maybe it’s just because back then I didn’t get out much because of the pandemic, so meeting new friends was extra special. I remember going to one friend’s birthday party at the very beginning of summer break, June 7 I believe. It was the most fun I’ve ever had. My favorite memory ever is everyone sitting outside when the sun went down, eating cookies, and singing along to songs I didn’t know. I was so happy just sitting there and listening, it was the most Angelic sound, all of these amazing, beautiful people in this shiny new friendship all singing together, with Zeb on the ukulele. That same friend’s birthday party rolled around again a month ago. It wasn’t the same. I didn’t take pictures this year. I haven’t touched my camera since last august. I lost my Omori hyper fixation when I went back to in person school. I never had enough personal time to love something as much as I loved this game. I felt it fading and it felt like I was losing a limb, I did everything I could to keep my passion alive because having a hyperfixation just makes the world brighter. Sure, I annoyed the crap out of all my friends when I would infodump about it, but having something that I never get tired of thinking about, something that makes me so excited that I can’t help but express my passion for it with art, if only to get it out of my head. I know it sounds stupid to be so unhealthily obsessed with a game, and it is. But it helped distract me. With the new console exclusive content, I ended up buying it on my switch and playing through the entire hikki route just to get to the part where you fight with Basil in the party. Old hyperfixations die hard I guess lmaoo. I just finished the boss rush with him this morning. A part of me really hopes that I’ll get the hyperfixation back. This game really means a lot to me, and it always will. It helped me through a lot of fucked up times. It gave me something to daydream about as I drifted off to sleep every night. I remember more than anything else I just wanted a friend group like that. I imagined myself as friends with the main characters. It was nice thinking about something like Omori to distract myself from the thoughts I didn’t want to acknowledge. Anyways, none of this makes any sense I know. If anyone reads this, sorry lol. Remember to stay hydrated and get enough nutrition. Treat yourself like you would treat a friend. You are loved, even if you don’t know it. I love you.

I finished the game like 3 days ago I'm completely obsessed with it now I always thought it was bad due to community stuff due to how I think I absolutely love it I'd love to have friends like that instead of terrible friends I wish the game could've lasted forever because the experience was better than any other game out there I teared up a bit when I found out Mari was dead and that outside of the dream world and that the whole friend group basically split up after that I just wanna erase my memories of it and replay the whole game because of the story its literally so hard to explain how i feel for this game

you know, the very last track, "H20:HCL" gives me vibes of an abandoned, large-scale science experiment which was held at a special building complex sometime during the 90's. it has something slightly creepy and somewhat sad about it that i can't properly describe... i love it.

It’s been over a year that I’ve been listening to this.. I keep coming back to it because it’s just that perfect. I really needed this. Ive been mentally deteriorating for the past few hours. I just broke down crying and I really needed something to calm me down. I knew exactly which video to help. Thank you.

I'm 23 and just finished this game recently, it really makes me feel like I'm 13 again, in the best time of my life. All the nostalgic elements hit hard, and the part that is the most relatable is when Hero's dad says a line about how the older you get, the harder it is to make friends. In a way I envy the friend group in OMORI despite the things they've been through, they seem really close even after all these years, can't say the same for myself because I've lost contact with so many friends.

I'm a similar age and I relate to this a lot. When I look at the Omori friend group and how close they were/are, I also feel a bit of jealousy. I've just recently connected with a small friend group that I feel comfortable in. I think i'm making up for lost time a bit, because high school wasn't great for me.

The only "relaxing" music that actually helps me relax and be calm, even when suffering from anxiety and being under stress, it makes me feel as if everything will be fine.

I just know when I played omori, EXACTLY how Sunny felt when he witnesses his fears and would panic. As someone with claustrophobia and panic attacks, it’s like battling your own mind. You know that it’s a stupid thing to be scared of and you keep telling yourself that, but that just adds to the overwhelming stress and fear of the situation. Because not even you can control how you’re feeling, and you start to feel like you might even die.

the "Duet" just, broke me... This is a beautiful playlist, thank you

I love all these songs but one that I haven't heard anyone talk about how good it sounds is "See you tomorrow." One of my many favorites in the omori OST. One thing is that it reminds me of when I was a little kid and I would be playing outside with my friends. One of us would go and we would say "See you tomorrow!" This song just gives me so much nostalgia. Reminding me of the memories when everything was good again.

For some reason, “by your side” made ma breakdown with emotion, probably because it reminded me of something in the past. You see, my cousin used to play the piano. Get the shivers every time when duet plays

I’ve been using this to study for my exams and it has been the most helpful playlist ever. The songs keep my brain from wandering and I can actually focus on my studying. And even after looping it a couple times I don’t get sick of it. So thank you so much for making this amazing playlist!

I was really tired today, so I took a nap while this playlist played in the background. I slept really well, then I began to wake up as OMORI played. Was able to wake up enough to fully enjoy Final Duet. I regret nothing 💕 thanks for an awesome playlist!

Thank god someone made this so I don’t have to 🤣 the music in this game is so amazing. My favorite though has to be Lost At A Sleepover. It makes me feel peaceful and happy & like I’m not alone. 😌 I do love 25&26 but they’re just so painful to listen to lol. Thanks for making this!

Sure I haven’t done some horrible shit I’m hiding from, but I still tend to self isolate and avoid reality in favor of fantasy. I don’t know how to pull out of that mindset and don’t know if it’s even worth trying. I decided to follow Omori's example. I was just looking at the ceiling, lying on the floor. I thought about something, I remembered my childhood. Crying, it was fun. I'm ready to spend all my days like this.

This mix has been following me for few months now and it really helped me in bad situations. Now that my emotional state is way better, I want to thank you, you who made this mix ! (also now, this playlist is one of principal reading mix ;>)

I listen to this every night while cleaning my room and journaling. It’s so comforting. I just love this OST, even though I actually haven’t finished the game.

Im so glad my friend told me to play this game. I ended up streaming it so my friends could watch me play, and it was one of the most fun gaming experiences ive ever had. Its sad that i cant experience it for the first time again because i would love to. Staying up late at night playing this with my friends watching is something I will never forget. And the feeling of emptyness after is something i wont forget either, omori is such a beutiful and unique experience that i hope many others get to go through as well. I love the memeories i made because of it and hope they stay with me forever.

I had a hard time trying to get myself to actually watch any videos on Omori, because I remember when the first trailer came out and what place I was mentally in middle school. I'm a senior in high school now, with my mental health not doing that great and forcing me to start consuming media from my past in an attempt to find some happiness. But I finally managed to get myself to watch a few playthroughs and yeah, I cried. This game, which I feel is basically a metaphor for mental health and coping, will always be the game I'll come to during my darkest moments.
