The equipment is very good for what it is designed for, but I think there is a serious mistake in not including streaming services, something fundamental today for DJs, I hope they can solve it.

As far as wireless goes, OMNIS-DUO only has a Bluetooth output. But to get ultra-low-latency, check out the WAVE-EIGHT speaker with the SonicLink transmitter.

So I don't understand is this a rekordbox device, like the xdj r1 and the rest of that series? Does it have the same search functionality I find in nexus cdjs and xdj?

It’s an all-on-one DJ system which you can use both standalone and as a controller with DJ software. In standalone, you can use rekordbox exported music on usb media or SD, to play without a laptop, just like on CDJs. As a controller, you can use it with rekordbox in Performance Mode or coming soon, Serato.

You can use just about any app with audio with Bluetooth Playback on the OMNIS-DUO.

It supports high capacity SDXC type SD cards. The biggest one currently in the market is 1TB, but can theoretically support larger when more higher capacity cards are introduced into the market.

If you have the rekordbox Creative Plan or Professional Plan, you can take advantage of the Cloud Direct Play capablity of the OMNIS-DUO.

It looks now we got proper 21st century technologies into a small-factor device. Looks really promising!

No signal level LED's for each assigned channel, on trim level... So your next Mix will fall flat, if the output levels don't remain the same... Or can you assign the output LED'S to display Channel levels?

Its nice. Most times when making reviews you only mention rekordbox and serato. Leaving atomix (Virtual dj) out of the video is it that you are all paid not to talk about it at all?.

Greetings. As the manufacturer, this is not a review video but an official demonstration overview of the product. The software we mention is based on what is officially supported with our product. As with many of our DJ products, other DJ software companies can create their own unofficial support as well. On our channels, we cover demonstrations of only the DJ software that is officially supported.

Why would they go back 10 years in technology and take away a spinning platter and color cue points? It doesn't make any sense to me. It has what looks like a light ring in the middle and it doesn't do anything. I'm not sold sorry.

A spinning platter was invented in 1890 by Emile Berliner with the invention of the gramophone, which used flat discs as opposed to Thomas Edison’s original cylindrical phonograph. The digital vinyl emulating jog wheel didn’t come till 111 years later in 2001 with the CDJ-1000.
