we had 2 garages in the front itself..so we can park inside and also get into the house through the connected door from the garage, was real cool. ya right, snow has to be shovelled at the right time, else it gets hard n slippery, I hate it!

Thought to share: Upon seeing your heating system, I believe it is a Gas Steam Boiler. The water inside is heated by the gas burner and steam is produced. Expanded steam is pressurized and released to various radiators throughout your house. The steam moves from high-pressure to low-pressure areas. That's why it doesn't require a pump, so the system failure rate is very low. The only problem is knocking/hammering noise. 😁

We had heavy snow yesterday. Miserable life. More on the way. Most dangerous thing is slip & fall and break bones. I ask Alexa everyday what is the temperature in Thiruvalla. She says max. 31 and min. 21. How I wish if I was there. Present temp. is -2. We use kerosene oil for room temperature. 1,200 ltrs of kerosene oil last for just over 3 months. I experienced - 19 in 2009-10 . Snow turned in to solid ice and remained on the ground for more than 3 weeks. Don't want to recollect and or see that sort of weather any more. Ultimately I ended up in the hospital. The most beautiful life and the most beautiful place in the whole world is our India.
