I saw on another mudlark video, Nichola White-Tideline Art, where she takes the coins she finds on the foreshore and donates them to charities. She puts them in a container and at the end of the year, picks a charity to give them to. Maybe an idea for the coins you find. Just and idea.

The plaque you gave away shouted out to History and Sir Francis Drake, a favourite of Good Queen Bess, singeing the King of Spain's beard, sailing round the world, and thwarting 'The Spanish Armada' (after a game of bowls). He, of dubious character, a ruthless privateer (aka pirate), was not to know that his galleon, the 'Golden Hind' (formerly the 'Pelican') was to be the branding on a chest to store ya booty! BTW I've been to see the (replica) 'Golden Hind' at Brixham harbour, and to see Drakes Drum when it was on loan at Buckland Abbey (NT). The drum is now back in Plymouth at 'The Box' museum. There is also a replica 'Golden Hinde' in London at St. Mary Overie Dock. It is a SAFE bet to say that FD loved his cannon balls, and we all know a PD who also loves his cannon balls. Yes Glen, when you handled that plaque you were attached to it not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually, completing a cycle, bound by the annals of History.

They came and took the glass out as the building was derelict. They cordand the area off for safety. We had nice complements from the services for letting them know

I hate to say this but I would put money on it that the electrical joiner was probably thrown in by an electrician who didn't want to deal with the rubbish. Electricians are well known for not tidying up there rubbish...😁
