Daneliya's AGT performance of "Arcade" (2023) was absolutely brilliant. I'm not entirely convinced by Simon Cowell's claim that her voice 'cracked a little bit', but perhaps he picked up on something I'd missed. In any case, this took nothing away from this beautiful rendition, as Cowell himself admitted. We later found out that Daneliya was somewhat ill on the day of her audition and wasn't 100%, so perhaps that played a role. Thanks again for your reaction!

I will watch this later, but I think given that she had been ill during this performance, she did an excellent rendition. It’s unfortunate that happened to her. As for Simon, he could have kept quiet, but that’s decidedly not like him. And there is always a chance that something happened that didn’t actually make it to air as well. So maybe something occurred that we haven’t seen. I didn’t hear anything “wrong” with performance myself. I think one can argue it just might not have been her most amazing talent show performance. It happens. She’s still outstanding.

Simon said something cracked in her voice I know it wasn't her voice it was a crack exactly where Simon was sitting but I am not sure though if it was his chair or his f...ng.💨

Loved her performance but don't care for the background noise. Thanks Tazzz.

One thing you may not have known, she had spent this whole day sick. Then she started to lose her voice. She was very close to not being able to sing. Then just minutes before she was supposed to sing, her voice cleared up, she still had a fever but that was the easy part. Daneliya inhabits the song until she hears how the song wants to be sung. She sings every thing with a conviction that what she is singing is true. That's how we get it and why it resonates with our soul. I find I love both because the situation she is singing in dictates how she sings a song. On the show she has a limited time to convey a song. She had 1-2.5 minutes to sing a song. I still think she sang it as well as anyone could have under the circumstances. Thanks for your continued interest in Daneliya, she is worth the attention.

Daneliya in her blog stated that she was as sick as a dog on the day of the performance. How she even managed to perform at this high level while ill is a credit to her personality and sheer desire to perform to her very best. This was the last competition that she will ever participate in. In Daneliya own words, never again and I totally agree.
