@@murf1201 I feel so lucky being Gen X-to have been a child of the eighties and then come of age in the early nineties...to be able to say that I crowd-surfed at a Pearl Jam concert around this time-early ‘92 I believe. (I would’ve been 16-17.) 🖤💜

@@ashleydixon4613 yes it was. As a Gen X'r 1965. Life was simple but great. Everything we did was built on originality and doing our own thing. Having the ability to enjoy every type of genre of music that was going to shape the world was worth every bit of life lived.

Pearl Jam with Eddie the lead singer just did a concert a couple weeks ago. He is still performing.

I ❤ this girl.....Pearl Jam "Release." Just do the entire "Ten" album.

I saw them in a small WELL KNOWN local, NATIONALLY FAMOUS VENUE, stood in line fir hours before the show, line was 4 or 5 blocks back/ long. And then i saw them outside for the first LOLLAPALOOZA, then inside Arena, HE IS GREAT LIVE VOCALIST

Pearl Jam is one of the very few grunge rock bands that still active. They were peak in the mid 80's to the early 90's, together with Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Nirvana

Before joining with the former members of Mother Love Bone to form Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder had been an MTV PA. So he went from getting coffee for the MTV VJ's to being center stage with the mics and cameras on him.

Lord does that chores in this song take me back to my innocent middle school years. Fun times.

This a song about a homeless man he met in downtown Seattle outside the recording studio. He used to give him a sandwich until the guy was gone, for good. The homeless guys name was Ed too oh by the way.

I was lucky enough to be at Pearl Jam's 2nd concert of their debut tour of Australia in 95. The night before fans turned up to an arena that was fully seated, and got manhandled by security for getting rid of the chairs. PJ sacked them all before the next night. The interaction between Eddie and the crowd on that 2nd night is thing of legend here. It still rates as the best live performance I've been to, and I was amazed how good they sounded.
