Ships use AIS. These use VHF and GPS. They do not communicate all the time. The vessel in question has already stated all this is utter rubbish. They are a charter fishing vessel and they are not overly happy over the rumours which are obviously now causing their business quite a few issues.

The single handed Olympic sailing dinghy the Laser is 14 ft. (13’ 10 1/2” to be exact). That is tiny in boat standards. The Sun might mean 14 metres which is closer to 45ft and that size of boat has a captain and crew and is capable of ocean crossings.

The yacht Maruba was last reported leaving Porto Fina (Las Palmas) for unknown destination and "went dark" 15 days ago.

To clarify: The ravine from Masca down to the coastal beach which is very accessible with a footpath, has a stream which flows throughout the year. I've done this walk twice, leisurely in around 2 ½-3 hrs (if I remember rightly). I've seen youngsters do a return journey, down and up without a break........ in teeshirt and plimsols fairly quickly. Also because it's in a ravine covered in vegetation, there's little to no sun, so it's actually quite cool, and a welcome break from the harsh Teneriffe sun. Down at the beach, boats are passing all the time, and many commercial companies run regular taxi-boat services from there to Los Gigantes harbour........from Los Gigantes, there's numerous buses and taxis to Los Christianos and beyond.......

The reason I don’t think he’s alive, in any conspiracy theories is time. Whether he got lost, he’s dead. If he was taken, he’s dead. It he was on that boat, he’s dead. The boy wouldn’t let his mum think he’s dead if he’s not. A young guy like that would have to reach out. To put his mums fears at ease. He’s not a psychopath. Or. His mum is pretending she’s not heard from him. No one believes that. That boy is dead. Need to find him. Possibly in the dirt or in the ocean. Bad business

Crazy thought... Is the owner of the Airbnb reliable/as innocent as she is being portrayed? If it is to do with a local n wellknown "big man", then they usually only get such stature with corruption. Therefore, if there is some police corruption, who is to say the Airbnb owner isn't also involved more than media know/hasn't been paid to give her witness statement? It could also explain how the "local council are restricting access to the revine and only allowing hikers in. They'll be charged €28 each and have to prebook" as the Sun reporter said (something else nobody really talking about/picked up on)

Definitely not a stretch to believe something happened to him the night/morning he disappeared and saying he got lost trying to walk back sounded like a good idea at the time. Although in hindsight, what normal person would even attempt it? Even if he was high on drugs he wouldn't have got far before the heat got him and he would have been found... unless he did go off the road as was scared he was being followed and someone either caught up with him or he ended up falling down somewhere. I can't help but think if he died from exposure he would have been found by now with the amount of resources used to look for him. Personally I'm not even sure of he was in Masca.. his phone was, but was he???

Theory: He stole a mafia watch, his small time crook Mrs found out, knew who the guy was and told him to give it back and arranged for him to disappear to her mates house for the night. Mafias' friends ask Lucy "nicely" where her boyfriend is and she folds immediately. She then calls Jay to let him know they're on their way and he leaves before they arrive. Mafia arrive at house looking for Jay and warn the two guys, "he was alive when he got here, he was alive when he left". Jay did the obvious and decided to wait for the bus only to end up being seen sitting between two blokes on the bench. Obviously then led down to the nearby beach to board a stolen boat and takes a small cruise offline to wait for his new concrete boots to dry.

Jay was threatened and taken to the airbnb under duress and was going to be held for ransom until Lucy Brad the rest of Lucys team had raised the cash Jay lost now at the airbnb Jay saw an opportunity to escape as Ayub was moving the car for the neighbour. after his escape Jay found out when the bus was due then he knew he had to hide and get off the road and out of site may be at the next bus stop up the road Jay then called Lucy and Brad for help Ayub also called Lucy told her whats happened and threatened her to get Jay to pin his location. Jay was part of lucys team and the blame and debt would fall on her if Jay escaped soon as Jay pinned his location that lucy asked jay for promising him help Lucy sent that info to Ayub Jays phone then died a thew minutes later even though Ayub said Jay charged his phone with his friends charger out of the bedroom jay did get on a boqat but not on his own accord hes now sleeping with the fishes and they threw his phone away lucy is the weakest link she could crack under pressure and could topple the house of cards LUCY IS IN SERIOUS DANGER dead ppl dont talk

The only way he would be on the that boat is if he was caught up with and the people above Auyb wanted blood because of either the money he owed them or he had sticky fingers in that B&B as there is no way he has the type of contacts to arrange this and disappear with no trace. This case gets crazier by the day I hope he is alive but the length of time he has been missing is pointing to him no longer being here.
