@oliveranthonymusic. I would love to write a song with you . You've inspired me to start writing again to heal and share with others that they're not alone. I used to write poetry/ songs until 2007. I dont want anything but just to help inspire others and help them heal. That's what this world needs more than anything

I am a 3 year sober opiate addict,i also was a big whisky drinker so i know how hard it is, and every day is a struggle but it does get easier so if u fall, dont quit, get up and start over no matter how many times it takes. Nobody gets it rite the first try but God is waiting 4 u, and u will make it through , just never give up on urself. Sending all my ❤ and faith to every addict out there. God Bless U.😊

Olivers songs are my first time ever watching reactions & commenting ! Old disabled guy , knocked off a roof & broke in half literally near 4 years ago. Planned to comment as both yours were good . When I saw your son peaking in background I had too , great stuff !! Oliver is awesome , brings me back to my growing up in the 70s when music & people were real ( you just said real ) . I've sent him a bunch of emails . I believe he is the real deal , smart , honest PATRIOT BRO . We are all on board with you and Chris ( Oliver ). All good PATRIOT SIS !!

Congrats JEN! I just celebrated being sober one year longer than I was using for as well! I see that you’re a great mother. I had a mother that used and I fell into addiction with her. Please don’t beat yourself up. Your son forgives you and he’s so lucky to have you as a strong mama bear. I lost my mother 2 years into my sobriety and I thank god I was sober for it but I never got to see her become the mother you clearly are and I know in my bones that you’re an amazing soul and stronger than many. God bless you and your family! Love from MN (liberal hellhole lol)

That’s okay! Just take things one day at a time! Take it one hour at a time if you need to! Go minute by minute if you have to!!! Make sure you realize what made you slip, and try your hardest to recognize what that is, and be sure you don’t do that again. 7 months is great! We people with longevity had 7 months too at one point!!! I think people seemingly forget that!!! Best wishes 🤗 ❤Jen

Accepting our own inflicted wounds are difficult as hell; some shrapnel will always be there as a REMINDER, NOT A REASON for the self administered beating! An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. "A fight is going on inside of me" he said to the boy, it's a terrible fight and it is between two wolves, One is evil~ he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. He continued, The other is good ~ he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside of every other person too. The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather "Which wolf will win?" The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed." ((Positive energy))

This song hit me wso hard. I was there 38 years ago. I didn't beg the lord he came to me and said enough is enough. I gave up everything all in one day. I stopped drinking, toking and smoking. It was so hard but he was always there to pick me up even when I didn't want picked up. I pray this man finds the peace and sobriety that he is looking for. When he finds it I hope he continues to bless us with his music .

I swear every song we hear by him is like taking us to church. Stirs so many emotions that we all can relate to and the frustration that we all feel in today's world. No matter what politicians tell you, we are way more alike than we are different. They know this and they also know that when we realize this, their reign of terror on the public is over. It's why they are always trying to divide the people in so many ways. Divide and conquer is their tactic. Love your neighbor no matter who they are, we might not agree with what they do, but they are still our neighbors and we should all look out for each other. He's exactly what we need right now, I feel like he's a messenger inspired by God to bring us back together.

Great reaction video this song hits hard! My 13 year old twins lost their dad last year to alcoholism. It’s a serious disease for years he wanted to stop and he would try many times. He just couldn’t and so many people couldn’t understand why it was so hard for him. In the end everything shut down, and my kids had to bury the dad. Looking them in the eyes and telling them it happened and then holding them while they fell apart was one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do to date. 😢😢

I had 10 years, gave it up for 10 years and I am coming up on a year again. Every time we go out there is no guarantee we are coming back. First time I heard this song, I wept...

I'm sober 11 years. This man speaks the truth. Every time was the last time, for 15 years. God offered me sobriety because I asked, but it wasn't free. It was the hardest year of my life, but then my life changed. I met my current wife, I became more financially stable, I got healthier, and started enjoying my days. Sobriety is boring sometimes, but it so much better then the life use to live. If I can do it, you can do it.
