It's a very catchy chorus

As silly as their songs sound, the music they made was very intelligent and well done. A very good band that knew how to make well crafted songs.

Siskel and Ebert were movie critics who used thumbs up, or thumbs down in their movie recommendations. Two thumbs up was their highest recommendation.

There are several reasons why this video wouldn't be made today. Imagine if it was made today, Me Too and several others would be stomping on these guy's necks. There was no such thing as "cancel culture" in the 90s. The only thing we canceled was our BMG subscription if we wanted to switch to Columbia House and we rarely did that! Either you loved the content that was being put out or you didn't. If you didn't, you know what you did? You changed the channel. Personally I still love this song and video. Loved it then and love it now. I remember seeing it for the first time on MTV in the spring of 1999 which was a dominant year for music and movies in general to close out the millennium. I'm talking about the REAL MTV when they played nothing but heat!! Back when MTV was great to watch. Thats why we should appreciate, worship, and remember 90s music and culture because it will never be the same as it was back then. The way things are today, not a damn chance.

Even though this comment is two years old and talks of MTV in 1999, which is 24 years ago, I do find it funny when it talks about "REAL MTV". As someone who had MTV within 6 months of when it first came out back in 1982, no, 1999 MTV was not 'real' MTV. By 1999, MTV had already largely been taken over by "Real World" and its clones, videos segregated off to 3 or 4 hours largely at night. If you wanted more video, you either went to one of MTV's 'spin off' channels , or some other channel entirely such as CMT. Real MTV died within a year or two of when it first discovered "Reality shows" back in 1992, and by 1994 was unrecognizeable to those of us who grew up with the Music VJ's. Yes, I know it's gotten considerably worse since even the 1990's. I know for at least a few years back around 2014 to 2020 (not sure recently) it went 'woke' and started trying to push a particular political point of view and even made basically political propaganda shorts. I remember seeing several of these and being offended and apalled and sad about how low this formerly music 'entertainment' channel (which had been for EVERYONE that loved rock and pop and rap music) had fallen.I think it has even less music now than in the 1990's if that's possible.

I LOVE it when art is SO stupid that it is actually REALLY good.

My Funny Soul Sister K.S.O., You had me laughing with your reference to Frank Zappa as a connection to the Bloodhound Gang's use of metaphors on sex which is pretty clear with its description in the lyrics. Believe it or not, this is the clean version of the song. In the explicit version, the video shows two gay men eating fries together until they are hit over the head with baguettes and thrown into the cage. This scene caused GLAAD to complain to MTV stating that it was a form of gay bashing, so MTV had Geffen Records eliminate that scene. There are other thing in the explicit version that is too gross to mention. The song reached #1 in several countries. It peaked at #52 on the U.S. Hot 100 chart. It's been a while since I've heard and seen the video. I will be putting it into my playlist. God Bless

I don't know where you found the lyrics, but it seemed to have lots of extra words which killed a lot of the double entrendres, Like "put your hands down my pants and I bet you'll feel my nuts" by added the second my it takes out the crazy interpretation of nuts. good interpretation. they were also very irreverent as a whole in their lyrics etc. Many people found it offensive but they always made me laugh. It was made to be stupid and offensive yet it was funny becaus eit was aware of its own silliness and un PC angle. F*** knows they wouldn't get away with it today!
