I compared prices from Paris. Without a tax refund, the difference is not very important (between $100 to $200 depending on item) However if you do tax refund in Australia compared to France, the price is about 4% more expensive in australia. France is cheaper due to the tax refund scheme. Tax is 20% and you get 13% back. Plus prices will always always be cheaper in Paris that’s the rule. The reason is to ensure French people can access the item too.

Hi thank you for this detailed breakdown! Yes the Chanel increase wasn’t as high this time so prices still remain cheaper even after the increase! But at the time I didn’t know if the increase is going to be 10% like previous years. So now it’s just seeing if there will be stock of stuff I want when I’m there!

I’m in Brisbane which is a small store but even calling chanel care to request earrings from new collection, they say they wont come here. I’m from Paris and all the times I shop to rue Cambon because I have plenty of choice between 31 & 19 shop. Here it’s frustrating. I think you are in Melbourne, lucky 🍀 I wish I could live there. I would spend my days off at Chanel, just for the pleasure of watching new things

That must be a big change for you living in such a huge city then moving to Brisbane 🙈 the stock is soooo limited here 😅 and I find most of the colors that I want often won’t be ordered by my store. My lilac Chanel Kelly I had to get from overseas. I’m so excited to visit 31 Rue cambon!!! 😍😍 maybe worth visiting some of the other Chanel boutiques too? I know they have them inside the department store too! Unlike here hahaaa.

@@queenofdiamondsamy If you visit Paris, 31 rue Cambon is always where I start. Then usually I ask my assistant to take me to 19 rue Cambon so I dont miss anything. They are happy to do it. Last time 19 transferred an item 31 didn’t have. Exceptionally, my assistant made the transfer of the item and walked in the street (never allowed due to theft) but it was accepted. So the customer service in 31 rue Cambon is exceptional. Then, visit rue Montaigne near Concorde, they have 2 boutiques next to each other and same as rue Cambon, you can look at both to avoid to miss something. Beside of those, I wouldn’t go anywhere else (maybe Royal near Louvre) but only if they have an item I am looking for. Next year I am going back to Paris for good so I’ll be able to increase my collection with the latest items from new collection. Plus I am thinking to get a job there as I LOVE CHANEL but also talking to people like you make me feel we are family.

Belated Happy Birthday Amy! 🎂 Boy, do I need a break from my cat! She has an infection and I can’t seem to feed her pills. Good thing the driver will be here tom. Being more pastel it will work with most things, I think it's a good option. Mini lindy would be best in a neutral color. That 2nd restaurant was from last yr 😛 This year I was too busy to find a good place so bf picked. The food was outstanding, decor is not as fancy tho haha. Oh I see! I actually havnt watched any 24s shopping vlog yet 🙈 will have to check out that other green you are referring to. Wow iridescent white would be stunning!!! One of my coco handles is iridescent blue 🩵 she is so beautiful 🤩 one of my fav bags in my collection!! I would never buy a black cf lol. At one stage I wanted a white but the price increased too high now. I’m just happy with my light grey. One is enough. I thought evercolor will scratch too before I owned a piece. But I was so wrong!!! The leather feels so luxurious, light weight, and doesn’t scratch at all. I don’t need to baby it. Also smells amazing. I like it more than chèvre 🤭 didn’t realise your sister is over Chanel AND Hermes haha. What brand is she into now?
