And LCD has more life durability than amoled

LCD is also Best There is no Screen Flickering whereas Amoled Technology is not developed fully yet.

​@@dhruvilgajjar6179 despite that, AMOLED are way too overhyped. Who gives a crap about deep blacks, and always on display?? A lot of gimmick if you ask me. An IPS display with less brightness in direct sunlight is still visible compared to AMOLED display. I tried a cheap galaxy grand prime plus (pls IPS) vs a galaxy j7 (AMOLED) and even the AMOLED with full brightness cannot beat the pls IPS with only 20 Percent brightness

@@axh1xh oled uses pulse width modulation to control brightness which means the small led's on the screen turns off and on low brightness at the rate of 10-50Hz on 60Hz display. causes flickering, and your eye(pupil) try to match that rate by reducing and increasing its size. causes headaches and other problems.

But if you use OLED/AMOLED displays under bright sunlight for long time(i.e. in high brightness mode) , it consumes more battery, as compared to ips displays(saying from personal experience). Also OLED/AMOLED displays have high chances of screen burn-in, if a static image is left on the display for a long time. That's why IPS is always a great choice for TVs/Laptops/Desktop monitors. And IPS have better outdoor visibility, compared to AMOLEDs(because it shows proper white). Now somebody will ask about colour reproduction, an IPS display with 100% colour accuracy will show peoper and natural colours. AMOLEDs are way too overhyped.

I mean we like the idea of natural but 70 percent of people would go for the amoled oversaturated if you show them snd if your like the 30 percent you can always turn it to more natural colours

Amoled has flickering issue which damaged our eyes badly

@@motivationalguru037 dude you don't get it huh Alright stop complaining indoor IPS is good if you use reading mode and dark screen protector and outdoor amoled is good thats mean if you use low brightness level in amoled screen your eyes will harm badly if you use dc dimming it won't solved the problem fully i know ips screen is too much bluish thats why it injured our eyes so badly but at the other hand amoled is also harmfil for its flickering issue... But amoled is colourful display. You can test it by your smarphon's camera

This black pixels saving the battery only applies to the image if there is something black, other than that the amoled's led always keep consuming the battery and also there is continuous flicker which can't be noticed at a time, but that's really very harmful for the eyes, so ips lcd gives out the natural and true colours and is also safe for the eyes, there is no need of punchy colours or always on display for which we are getting mad to have amoled display, also amoled is costly and can be damaged sooner as compared to ips lcd which is cheapest to change and there is less flicker so it's safe for eyes but amoled is not safe for eyes...

AMOLED are not shock resistant like IPS, IPS also can last 2 decades without any signs of degradation. All that AMOLED panels used widely by manufacturers is purely a marketing strategy for people who loves wasting money and don't give a rat ass about longevity

Bro, it depends upon your usage..If you use your smartphone more then any type of display will cause strain in your eyes...Both display has their advantages and disadvantages For good battery life and vibrant colors-Amoled For reliability and natural colours -IPS LCD

TFT is the best for eyes. Neither amoled nor IPS.. I have a TFT monitor, absolutely no problem, when I got a LCD monitor, got problem in eyes.. Used to study in Samsung tab a10.1 (TFT) no problem. But now when I use IPS LCD Gaming Laptop, it very badly affects my eyes..
