Keya is amazing! She’s so patient and has a great attitude. I go to her every 4 months for a press & trim. Going to her regularly allows me to retain length because she gets those little split ends before they go up the shaft. Anytime I wait longer than 6 months, the ends of my hair looks a mess.

It turned out gorgeous and looks very natural! When I silk press my hair it lasts about 8-12 hours SOMETIMES and that's counting sleeping overnight lol. I can't get a full day out of it no matter what products I use. At this point, I don't even try to fight with my hair anymore. Whatever it decides to do as soon as I walk out the door is above me 😂

I don't know if your stylist does this but doing a hydration treatment with steam helps my press to last longer. I've done mine myself at home and it's the only step I miss, my hair doesn't last. I'm convinced it's the hydration with steam that she does before blowing it out.

Mary looking good as always. 🤩 Just remember that even when using protective styling methods not to forget to maintain and manage your own beautiful hair. Regular washes, moisturizer that works with your hair type, deep conditioning as well as keeping those ends clipped and snipped. 👌🏾

My silk pressed last about a month (well when I am not working out consistently). I use Aveda Anti Humectant and Fructis Sleek and Shine. My hair does not revert until I intentionally wet it. It can even get a bit wet in the rain. I have 4 EFG hair 🤣. I don’t know how I found the combination but it is holy grail for keeping my hair straight.

Love The Hair So Natural Beautiful. I Love How You Are All Dolled Up With Your Makeup And Pretty Top. Some People Look Crazy Coming Into The Salon Looking Like They Have Hot Breathe 😆😆😆.

You asked for it, it should have been dyed BLACK to match your hair, the nice new jet ⚫️. You're nice for letting her talk you out of what you really wanted. But it did turn out beautiful 😍

The cut and braid down is amazing. Kudos to Keya! One thing I clocked 🕵was the difference in your hair texture from the wig - it's too silky. Next time you should do a blow out or coarse yaki texture so your leave out will blend better.

So I'm preaching to myself too, but if you stay consistent with your trims you will retain the length. I just got mine straightened and hadn't seen my stylist since September. It wasn't as bad as I thought but I'm going to do better. Your natural hair looks great.

Mrs Mary now I totally thought this was your hair and she did extremely well with that upart wig ma’am! If you didn’t tell us we would of never known….. I was just talking about for Sunday getting a bob crinkle cut though because I have a side part bob wig now, it’s cute but I want something else!!!😂 keratin treatment before flatironing works it’s a type of vitamin and helps hair growth too! It last for at least six months and still looks good afterwards. I only know that because of a line of hairstylists in my bloodline that have used it on clients and my daughter being one

I have 4c hair frfr. My presses last 1 to 2 weeks depending on the weather. Not bone straight but textured straight. I get it pressed every 3 to 4 months and keep it trimmed. I think that's why mine last.

I was having the same issue with my crown and middle area.... well I start taking my iron,B12 and folate supplements n the breakage stopped...but have your physician to check your levels b4 taking them
