I think it works great this way, especially given the lore of the boss. Phase 1 being bombastic and almost heroic-sounding, hearkenening back to Commander Esmond's glory days, only to give way to a quieter, more ominous tone as Phase 2 begins and the pus consumes him entirely.

Thank you, I use Opus EastWest Hollywood orchestra, it's really good, only costs $20 USD a month or so.
