Omega is my favorite watch maker and also had that 'it' and 'cool' factor that Rolex can't touch.. It's like BMW vs Mercedes, BMWs always have that cooler, sportier, younger vibe than Mercedes. Omega has that Aura about it as well compared to many other expensive brands

Resale value. Mercedes-Benz always beats BMW here. Also, how many BMW cars in the company's history are worthy of serious collectors? Even worth restoration as much as Mercedes?

@@lukespector5550 Rolex resale value is largely based upon advertising hype, flippers, and artificial scarcity of product that Rolex intentionally promotes by limiting production. Yes, the watches are good, but they're not THAT good. In terms of history, collectibility, technological innovation, styling and haute horology, Omega buries Rolex in every category.

One small correction: Omega was first worn by Pierce Brosnan's Bond in 1995 in the movie GoldenEye The Seamaster Professional Diver 300M (in its current design language) was introduced in 1993, therefore 1990 is 5 years early A Professional line of Seamaster models ("Pre-Bond" Seamaster Professionals) existed both in quartz and auto, but those were a bit outdated in design back then

I love Omega, I have a seamaster and a moonwatch speedy. They are both great quality watches and look amazing. Their customer service is great and they have treated me with respect. They definitely have some great stories behind their watches especially their connection with space exploration.

There is no such this as finest white gold . White gold itself is a alloy and a fake branding as white gold. Gold is always yellow.

When I was young in 1980 Omega was not at all a luxury watch brand, those watches were not overly expensive at all. Makes it a it hard for me to deem it a luxury brand now.
