tim does the Omega Seamaster 2230.50 also have the updated movement?

I've had mine for almost 20 years and will never sell, I'm getting an original Omega black leather strap next time in Seattle...can't wait.

Very thorough and informative video. I purchased this watch in the Maldives in 2002. I haven’t used it for years and noticed it is not operating correctly - the second hand starts for only a few seconds and then stops. I chose this watch because of its elegant design and plain but classy platinum bezel. In my opinion, the classic design has not dated. I would like to get the watch repaired and start using it again. Should I just take it to Omega? I would also be interested in knowing the value of the watch now. As I recall I paid USD 2000 back in 2002. Thanks.

@@bbombose replacing that insert is 800$ dollar itself so if you are looking to buy one make sure the bezel isn't scratched.

It's personal taste. I like it, because of how unique it is, but i can see why a lot of people find it wierd.

10 sec's in and I had to stop it. Horrible looking timepiece!
