Omega Mart Experience (Worth it?) | Meow Wolf Las Vegas

Come explore Omega Mart with us and see if it's worth the hype. We'll give you our honest reaction and opinions as we explore the newest art installation in Las Vegas.
In this video, we'll show you where to go and what to see while you're inside so you can get the most of your experience, from the Omega Mart grocery store, including what products you can actually buy in Omega Mart, and then all of the crazy worlds behind the grocery store.
We've been waiting for this to open for two years and it did not disappoint. After visiting Meow Wolf in Santa Fe years ago, we were ecstatic to hear they were opening additional locations. Las Vegas opened in February 2021 and Denver should be opening soon. We visited Omega Mart Las Vegas during their opening weekend and you can see our reaction from the video - it definitely met our expectations.
Make sure you check out our video from Meow Wolf in Santa Fe as well - ‪@meowwolf‬ used some of our footage in their documentary! • Meow Wolf and Santa Fe...
Omega Mart Las Vegas Details
Tickets to Omega Mart are $40-$45 each. They're timed tickets to keep the capacity down during Covid, but you don't have a time limit once you're in. There's no reentry once you leave though, so make sure you eat beforehand. There are bathrooms inside.
Omega Mart is located inside Area 15, which itself is quite a cool destination. There's so much to do and see in Area 15. Combined with Omega Mart, you can easily spend 5 or 6 hours here. Area 15 is located near Fashion Show Mall, on the north side of the Strip by TI and Wynn. There's plenty of free parking at Area 15.
Once you enter Omega Mart, take your time to look through all the products. There are too many to include in this video, and honestly we didn't even see them all ourselves. Just like a real grocery store, it would take forever to actually look at each product. The amount of detail and thought the artists put into these products is just incredible.
There are several access points from Omega Mart into additional areas. Going through the soda refrigerator puts you into an office. Going up the main stairs puts you into the employee break room. And the secret circular stairs gets you into Dramcorp's offices. Crawling through the tent gets you into the "Projected Desert" of Seven Monolith Village. And the passageways behind the meat counter and near the detergent empty into some sort of electronic playground with slides and lots of lights. We don't want to give too much away, because we really want you to visit and explore it on your own, but we want to make sure you know when you visit Omega Mart, it's A LOT more than just the store. Plan on AT LEAST 2 hours, but more if you can.
It's hard to put timestamps in here because you're constantly going back and forth between areas, but I tried to put all the pieces together in the video so it seemed more cohesive, so here you go:
0:00 Welcome to Omega Mart
1:23 Omega Mart products (you can actually buy them!)
2:51 Secret passageways
3:51 Dramcorp Offices
4:38 Upstairs rooms (flashing lights)
5:28 Slides, lights, and sounds
7:24 Projected desert (Seven Monolith Village)
9:00 Our favorite two rooms
10:05 Random rooms and Isa loses her phone
11:32 Secret office and final rooms
12:35 Final thoughts and recommendations
This video was not sponsored and all our opinions and reactions are genuine. If you have any questions about Omega Mart or Meow Wolf, ask us in the comments. We respond to everything.

    3 жыл бұрын

We spent about 3 hours in there. It really depends on how you want to experience it though. We have some friends that saw it all in about an hour and were perfectly happy with their time spent (they didn't care about the storyline at all, just wanted to experience the art). But we can't wait to go back and spend more time there. There's a bar inside Omega Mart, but no food as far as I know. We recommend eating before you go. Technically, you can buy some of the groceries inside Omega Mart and snack on those - like cereal, gum, or the giant thing of cheese puffs. Just don't buy the "nut-free salted peanuts" - it's just salt. -Brian

@@PerfectLittlePlanet I don’t think you truly understanding just how awesome you sharing this is…my mobility issue is being “allergic” to gravity I have Hyperadrenergic Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome a form of Dysautonomia. When i stand up, or even sit up but to a lesser degree, my entire nervous system “breaks” and goes into overdrive. Every bodily process you don’t control from sweating, to breathing, body temp, BP, etc. speeds up pulling my blood to my core which makes me feel hot, weak, short of breath, widespread pain and overall just “sick” like i have the flu. Im able to get up go to the store, run an errand or two, even walk a block if i have to, BUT if I stay upright for more than 2-3 hours my symptoms will reach “crisis” stage. So the MOST I could ever see in person would be a little bit of the store…i cant even go to ikea anymore because its too far between exits. Im literally bedridden (because my body functions best laying down) 16-24 hours every day. So again, THANK YOU. To most its just a cool video, but for me, its being connected to the world that i can no longer personally experience and that feeling is just, priceless. I never would have experienced this beautifully weird & amazing place if people like you didn’t share your experience. 💗
