The nostalgia when I saw this Is just unmatched

I realised something. The stages in this game are a reflection of human evolution Atom (small glowing ball) - First life on Earth Cel - Atoms becoming small cells Zoa - Cells becoming alive like microscopic organisms Saur - Dinosaurs (obviously) Prime - Primates/Apes Superior- Caveman to modern day Omega- Humans in the future. So powerful and intelligent we cause our own downfall Either I'm thinking WAY too hard about this or it was an intentional decision

Generally correct; just if we go by the last stage (The Omega), it's eventual "defeat" is called 'You Omega', which in this context can be taken less as self destruction as enlightenment. Taking this into account, I think the creators were hinting at the idea where we go from being physical creatures to 'energy beings' and starting the physical process of evolution anew till the stars go out.
