That watch is beautiful! You really have the Midas touch when it comes to picking up the most gorgeous and honest little vintage pieces. Mind you having been watching your excellent videos for some considerable time now its obvious to me that you've put in the hard work to gain more than a good working knowledge of horology as a whole. Well done. As a comparatively newby to watch collecting I learn so much from you and your videos and I thank you very much for that. I'll say goodbye for now. This is trully a beautiful watch. Congrats!

I have 20 micron gold plated version of Omega cal 1030 remained from 1975. Pure treasure in my opinion. Timekeeping is like +3 secs in a day.

Inherited a gold geneve from my grandad and had it refurbished by Omega and its beautiful. Still have the original box and papers too. Its my everyday wear and people ask me about it. Very happy with it 🙂

Me too but with the manual movement.. Got it refurbished three years ago and It works just fine.

I got one of these at a pawn shop from a watchmaker that worked there all i paid was 40 USD the repair cost from someone not picking up their watch after it had been serviced.......(before internet and ebay)...Best deal ever!!

Thanks for that. I have just put a bid in for one because they look really good. Not too flashy & only people who know watches will notice. Just like my Audi S5.

Just found my grandpa's old Omega. I was seriously chocked because I thought he didn't have that kind of money at that time. To be fair I don't know if it is real, so next week I will go and have it checked.

I thin that if it works on your wrist than who cares if it is 48 mm :) or 35 ... however under 35 does not work for me

EDC Gunner I have a small diameter wrist and also agree with you. Generally I prefer larger than 36 mm and smaller than 42 mm, depending on the genre, if it's a sportswatch or more dressy classic style. My midsize 36 mm seamaster 300 actually wears very nice due to its case and lugs geometry 😊

Beautiful. Im looking for my first vintage watch, and I want it to be an Omega. Gents which is a more exclusive one to look out for? Seamaster, De Ville, or Geneve.

it can, most of the vintage watches used plastic crystals from rolex to omega
