I was standing in front of him when that Mic fell. I was 17 years old it was my 3rd time on top of the pops. Brilliant memories.

@@humanchannel7825 I actually seen omd perform that same song twice on top of the pops just shuck Andy's hand once. But I was on that show numerous times I lived about a half mile from the BBC studios.

Did it hit you ? 😳 Always made me chuckle how serious the singer was , and his dancing is well overdone 🙄 great song though , loved their songs , and they've lasted !!!

Very clever how he immediately moved the mic stand otherwise it would look silly singing into a mic stand without a mic!
