Oh wow thank you so much! This is easily the best and most informative and thorough tutorial I’ve seen on ombré hair so far. I’m going for blue blurple purple and then pink at the ends today, this video was the perfect one to watch I feel confident doing this again!

I'm scared TOO! I have naturally dark hair so not sure how it'll work even if it will... It comes with a bleach kit...which is SUPER helpful It's from Splat, Rain ombrè Purple and violet

I could never do this on myself because I'm all thumbs. I'm just going to go pastel with dark random streaks of a compatible darker color on my white hair.

Alisha washing takes out excess dye then shampoo and condition for healthy and not dry hair

All instructions I’ve read say to wash it out. I have no desire to dye my shirts and pillows 😂

I always rinse out my excess dye with water only and never stained my pillows.

You got it backwards Shampoo washes out colour conditioner seals it in that’s why most dye kits come with a conditioner for after the process

But the order applied matters. when you shampoo it strips oils and pre put colors from the hair but leaves the pores open and thirsty so adding the color after means it's more likely to adhere better to the strands. Adding conditioner adds a seal to the hair follicles so preexisting colors get locked in but if u washed with conditioner before hand ,the seal created allows less dye to penetrate. This is what it was referring to in the video.

I'm a hair dresser and she is correct. It's not recommended to wash or condition the day of. Your correct about conditioner after if hair isn't in good condition. Normally I put just a quarter size of conditioner after.

Beautiful colors! But I’ve always used a conditioner treatment not shampoo after I wash it out and it’s fine and also when I get it done at the salon so does the woman who does it , my hair is thick and very color treated for many many years and needs conditioner, if I just used shampoo I wouldn’t even be able to comb nor brush my hair .

How do you wash it so the colors don't all bleed into each other making it look like total garbage? I've washed in cold water, upside down etc, still didn't matter.

Perhaps if you make sure the undertones in the dye match the undertones in your skin? Like warm for warm and cool for cool. I’m so pale and very cool toned so as long as I stick with cool toned dye I’ve been able to use just about any color as long as it’s the right shade. My friend is about a 350 in Fenty foundation and warm toned and she’s found the same thing, as long as the undertones match hers she can do just about any color. I think if you pick the right shades you would look absolutely beautiful no matter what 💖

i have this color but its a body wave i never ever owned body wave cause i didn't know how it worked.i got the ombre purple pink hair.once i wore it people came up to me to get a closer look.i got followed in a store in Michael's.hispanic women walk up to me to get a closer look_when i go to a store & pay at the check out if its a man he just pays for the stuff says (have a good day) if its a gurl she will just stare.i did get nice compliments but it stopped.at Walmart pharmacy the lady who knows us she said (she dyed her hair purple) then she started talking how she had purple hair.at Target a little gurl stopped & stared at my ombre purple pink hair the mother said (come on) to her daughter.at the mall this family walks pass me the little gurl looks up at me for my ombre purple pink hair.

This is so miss leading. I want see how people do it on there own head. Not on a wig.
