How does do the Dashcam hold up with the summer heat?

I am curious how you have found it read license plates at night. Hard to tell from the video.

Great review. I was wondering if you outside on road and need to access videos while outside. Can you access using phone data or it has be connected wifi?

It's only via WiFi. The dashcam does not have cellular connectivity.

Do they have an app for Android?

You can’t download a video from the same screen where you’re watching it? Seems like a significant UX error.

hey! i am having trouble with the dash cam. Am i supposed to plug it in and let it start up as soon as I start the car or do I have to press the power button. I am trying to get it to work. the power is not turning it on.

The dashcam will turn on when there is power going to it. You don't need to press power button. You should check if your cigarette power socket has power coming out (you can plug other devices in and check). If still doesn't work, then return it and exchange it.

Can the rear camera be mounted outside? Is it waterproof/dustproof

The rear camera is not waterproof and it's to be installed inside the car.

I bought this via Amazon and now I'm thinking of returning it. Every 2-3 days it asks me to format memory card. I don't understand what's the point of loop recording.

Either your memory card is bad or your dashcam is defective. Check with seller for support. Loop recording does not require you to format the card.

Can you make out license plates

It can make out license plates that are in front of you during the day. At night, because of the headlight shining on the license plate, it's going to be overexposed. This is the case for all dashcam. But license plates to the side can be read.

Wifi is not automatically connected, when we just start the car
