He wasn't mumbling. He was allowing his emotions show in the song. And they did. Her vocals are good, but emotions are flat.

Her voice matches the interpretation of the lyrics; Soso takes my pain away. It is an emotional song and her voice fits perfectly well.
You sang our Nigerian pidgin English pretty good: *"Water no get enemy,"* *"Until you fall for oshimili"* It means that water is indispensable to survival; No one can do without water. So, we need water to stay alive, unless a person becomes a drowning victim. Then, water becomes an enemy. *Oshimili,* means deep sea or ocean.
