You totally rocked it, Allie. From trackside, I could tell you were going to run an amazing time. First, you didn't have the brutal wind like you had at Palo Alto; second, your hurdle form was stellar. You weren't jumping over the hurdles like at Stanford. You were hurdling them like a star, and you negative split the race. Your moves were well planned. Let's not forget the signature Allie O finishing kick. Very well done. 👍

Thank you! Definitely feel like my barriers weren't quite stellar, but I'm happy with the progress!
Just getting 1 second per lap with more efficient hurdles and water pit would put you right at the front! Your fitness is incredible! Amazing that you able to make moves and move through the pack like that!

I was just reflecting today that I believed wholeheartedly for YEARS that my ED was what made me fast, but recently I feel so much stronger and like my potential is limitless. I now believe that my ED was actually holding me back. It's an amazing realization!

Me too! As I’ve slowly started to eat more food obviously nutritious and just not caring more and more I’ve gotten better! I’m 14 and my old mile time was a 5:50 but w all th eating stuff I feel better now and have a 5:30! It’s crazy what food changes and I thank you for thzt ❤️
Great race, great analysis. Sounds like you know exactly what you need to do next. You will be peaking at the perfect time and you are ready to crush it when it counts!

Gawd, you are so GOOD at this: So ace at the analysis, the reflection, the strategy, the learning. You're unflinching in your self-awareness and willingness to use this experience as a step up. I learn so much just by listening. (And you may have the dearest mom in the world. :) Allie, thanks so much for sharing this and all other stops on your journey with us!

OK, the first thing I have to say is your Mom with her fruit looked exactly like you with your coffee. The two handed, happy cuddle😂😂😂😂. Second, your warm up drills looked super technical and well executed. Your a machine!!! Third, this was an amazing result!!!! Fourth, your mom’s legs elevated solidarity killed me😂😂😂. The sky’s the limit!!!!! Yay!!!!!

I just watched this race on another video. The commentators had high praise for you all through the race. At the end, you looked as great as the 3 in front of you going over the last water jump. You just ran out of track. I almost thought you were going to catch 3rd. You look great 6 weeks out.
You give me so much inspiration to keep pushing and chasing dreams
I’m so impressed with both the effort and your attitude. Looking forward to lots of footage of water jump practice!!
Looks like the fitness is there. Better tactics and hurdles and you’d be in for the win. Would love to see a video with your coach going over the race and giving feedback.
Allie, congratulations on a fantastic race. It was really impressive that you were able to respond to most of the moves in the race. Looking forward to your next race.
"Next ill do my vocal warm ups for cheering" Lol 😂 your mom is so sweet! ❤
Allie, it is really nice to watch your fight and overall progress. I am really looking forward to the Olympic trials. Receive best wishes all the way from Croatia (Europe). P.s. really appreciate the core workout video.

Thanks for posting this. Amazing job!
I had no idea how complex these races are; the strategy, the calculations, how hard it is not just to run fast but physically make your way into and through a pack. You fought hard, woman! Congratulations!

You totally rocked it, Allie. I could tell from trackside that you were going to run an epic time. First, you didn't have the brutal wind like you had at Palo Alto. Second, your hurdle form was vastly improved. Your were hurdling rather then jumping. Your moves were very well calculated. Very well done. 👍

You did great! Looking forward to the US Track and Field Olympic trials. You'll be a major factor.

Wow! What a superior race you had. Very very impressive how you came back, improved, and held on to 4th. Jumping barriers with small weights will help build your springy/jumping capabilities. But not too much or too many weights.
Thanks for inviting us to your hard earned days in the life. I am happy for you, good luck ❤
Awesome race, Allie! 👏
Congrats!
Congrats on a good time just keep racing.
I know exactly what you mean about being in a pack in the steeple! Dangerous! Keep going! I love watching what you post!

Awh, thank you!
You are such a beautiful runner! It's incredible how you can always find another gear. Keep that Olympic dream alive! Was hoping you (and/or you and Spence) could do a video about managing food for these evening/night races. I have a super sensitive stomach when I run, and whenever I race in the evening (which happens a lot in the summer in the American South to avoid heat), I feel AWFUL. A full day of eating just does not sit well (especially if a hilly course). Any tips for properly fueling all day and taking in multiple meals, but also not losing your stomach on the course?
Great race. Your fitness was totally there and you moved yourself up and kept in contact with the leads. You know your issue is a technical/technique one and that you can correct. Keep building and keep the momentum!
Wow great job! Im sure youll improve next time!
Wow, this is a great time! Cmon! Paris is calling!

You are in such a good place at this point in an Olympic year!!! Holy sh!t. Patience and polishing, with some additional chances to run with strong competition, and the Trials will be exciting :) The path through this crazy pressure will be different this time because of the work you have done and are doing to overcome ED. I am pulling for you every step of the way.
