Thanks for the calcs. They have helped me. I can’t figure out pinehurst #11’s calcs using your way. Have u figure out a hw and tw divisor for it and if wind plays normal ?

The divisors will vary somewhat based on your clubs and balls. I haven't done anything special for PH 11 but I do subtract yardage for several holes on that course.

Great video.. cool to see your thought process.. I did notice your divisor changes constantly however.. you used from 150 to 200 on head winds. What determines the divisor ?

I only use divisors when I am doing hand calculations, and it varies to try and estimate the wind factors I have in my spreadsheet. They vary based on club, spin, full shot vs. punch, tee vs. fairway, and wind strength.

Do the 100 level irons and 97 have the same carry distances?

Yes - they are the same, so no need to re-map for the 100s if you've already done it for the 97s.

How do you calculate the % on putter to hit? On the 1st hole it was 75%, struggling with that calculation.

The calc there was distance x 0.62 + elevation + 2, then divided by the putter scale of 15

Sir, thank you for the honour of watching you play. Please excuse my mundane question but how do you get the calculator on the screen. I use hand calculators but would prefer to do it on screen. Also would you kindly let me know what ball you used in this game? Thank you. Jeff.

Hi Jeff, I use the Titleist level 101 ball, and the calculator is just the basic MS Windows calculator app.

@@jeff3821 hey Jeff. Whatever screen capture He’s using he has both his WGT and calculator selected to share. I believe you can do it w obs, twitch studio, etc.
