taking the deep breath a bit too late could mean a lung full of water, and you gotta hold in the cough so you can focus on ferrying to the side. #experience

kayak is sitting and double blade paddle, canoe is kneeling and single blade paddle. Its the way of using the boat, the boat itself is referenced as well.. the boat.

Totally calm and in no danger. Not sure it was one of Mallory’s best moments but that why athletes practice. All part of building to become a world champion.

She has everything in control. Just look the way she moves. She does not look someone who is in trouble and fighting for his life

It seems she is rolling on purpose. She could have kept a line through the middle of the course she wanted to. The second roll was to protect the boat I am guessing.

There's nothing dangerous about that. Looking at their technique I'm pretty certain doing it upside down was intentional too. They're just playing around / show boating.
