Uncle Olu Fajemirokun, it's been a long time. He was dating one of my besties in 1992 and both were coming to my house for visits. And i was having a good time at Skindles Club on Ojuelegba Rd on Fridays where he used to have his Friday shows. Good man and loves my children then. I live in New Jersey now.

Olu Fajemirokun is very good friend in the early 80s, in Papa Ajao area where I was living then. He was the one that played when I have my twins then 8 days. He played free without kobo from me. Very humble, generous and friendly. You may not remembered me again. But we knew ourselves very well. I lived very close to Baba Commander house in Papa Ajao in those days

I really enjoyed this interview. Olú Fajemirokun is a comple gentleman. Very honest with his responses, just like baba Adedara Arihunraloja, Feyisara ( former drum set player for Lagbaja) & Apola king. May the soul of Dayo Kujore rest in peace. Every Juju musician you have interviewed attested to his prowess on guitars, not to mention his sonorous voice. Agbaletu keep it up.

Don’t mind Shina Peter. He was sarcastic with some of his statements during the interview. Shina is a great musician no doubt and I love him to high heavens but a display of immaturity is which was evident in his early years is still very much with him. You can see simplicity and humility in Olu Fajemirokun (even thought I’m not much of his fans as I am for SSP)
