Finally a person who has the same opinion!! And yes, you're right.. I would like to know why. He has so many great songs and maximum is 160 milion views and that's definitely because of Flo Rida.. it's wierd. I think his voice is beautiful and like I said.. his songs are cool and great. I haven't figured out yet why he hasn't got more popularity and views.

There are only so many musical notes you can use in music..i mean music has been around forever but I do admit Meghan Trainor did use this exact beat with very similar vocals, but get over it. I have so much nostalgia with this album. Me and my mum when i was younger, popping the CD in the car. Both of us singing and dancing. Playing it on our way to the cinema and shopping, through good and bad times. Thanks for being a part of my life, ill be sure to listen again to reminisce and cry :)

Though this song has the exact same melody as "Dear Future Husband", I personally don't think by using that beat Meghan Trainor should be called "unoriginal". Her style has that 50's feel, and this beat was very popular then. Just getting it out there. 😊 Have a great day and God bless.

***** fine, then it's the fifties. It's hard to make a truly original pop song tho, considering most of them use the four-chord song structure and when blended together all sound exactly the same. (Some music group actually pointed this out but I can't remember their name.) Either way, it's not that much of a stretch to call out Trainor (or whoever produced the song) for it sound exactly like Olly Murs' song, just like how people called out Katy Perry's "Roar" for sounding exactly like Sara Bareilles' song "Brave."

Ok, I think I've solved the whole problem with "Dance With Me Tonight", "Dear Future Husband", and "Runaround Sue" sounding so similar: All three songs chronologically tell a story from the perspective of 3 different characters. Dion was Runaround Sue's last boyfriend and is warning other guys to stay away from her. Olly is the new love interest who doesn't listen and makes the excuse that all he wants is one night to convince her he's a good guy. Meghan (as Sue) agrees to go out with Olly but gives him a list of ultimatums if he wants to be in a serious relationship with her.

me and my old friend had a dance routine to this when we was little, her dad always went out on fridays because of his jobs and we always used to make forts and we would blast music and dance with ours mums.
