Hey, Dano did you see where the dollar tree continued to sell the lead applesauce for months after it was recalled. The Virginia state DA is investigating and will likely charge the company criminally. Since the dollar tree is based in Virginia.

When I went on my girls trip in April, I stopped at Ollie's. I picked up a pair of the rubber slip on shoes/clogs. OMG, I love the pair I got and wear them everyday. I wish there was an Ollie's near by, I'd get me another pair. The pair I got have 2 straps across the top, open toed. They were only $3.99.

Love Ollie’s. If you cold brew the coffee is less acidic for those with sensitive stomachs. I cold brew mine overnight in the fridge with a cold brew pitcher I got on Amazon. So if you regular brew it and then put ice it’s still pretty acidic. Thank you for your videos!!!

I buy 90% of my kitchen stuff from thrift stores, you can find chef quality at a fraction of the price.

We make chaffles with healthier versions like cheese & zucchini, we use the mini Dash waffle 4 inch maker, $15 Amazon, I got purple galaxy. Waffle makers take up a lot of space which we now do not have after moving into 675 sq ft apartment.

i don't go very often but i find books and toys for christmas.

I was at Ollies last week. We didn't find much, but the prior trip was very productive. We have to be in the area tomorrow, we may stop again. THE A/C and vac are often REFURBISHED, hence the lower price.We considered a window unit, but spent more to get the warrantee for a relative.

Have you noticed that here in the U.S., we've gone from shopping at luxurious shopping mall stores, to warehouse chains with unfinished ceilings and now to discount stores that have unfinished walls, ceilings and floors. Next year, it will be dirt and open to the elements.

We take blueberries or blackberries on sale at Aldi, out in a littke bit of cornstarch, a little sugar and make a pie. Much cheaper and less sugar.

I bought 2 of those U shaped Midea 12,000 BTU air conditioners from Costco for $300 each, shipped to my house. That's like 4 of those but with the new design so you can close your window. Super quiet. Even has an App.

I see so many things I want, but the needs come first. We have no extra money after paying bills, buying food, and gas. I don’t see things improving in the future, our savings wasn’t lots to begin with and it’s just hard to stay even, never mind trying to get ahead. 3 people who live in a 1 bed/1 bath house, even if we could afford to stock up, we have no extra space to store it. Life just sucks.

Most of the appliances at Ollie's & Big Lots are refurbished, so check the labeling.

Danno, I don't drink ice coffee Myself, but I saw somewhere that people will freeze the coffee in ice trays, then your ice for the ice coffee is more coffee then water,makes sense to me. Never been to Ollie's, but I think there's one about 30 mins from me in VA.

Wells Fargo in NC was closed due to new holiday called Juneteenth.

Some stuff kind of expensive bought 6 bars of soap for $4.99 the brand name was odd. Went to wamart got dove for same price. Ollies easy to return items.

Don’t be fooled by the prices of the AC units I went to one of the stores and it was $159.00 but I had a ad that dropped it to $129.00 when I tried to check out it would not allow the sale price so the manager came over and checked the price and told me that because it was a different color the price is different I laughed and said you have to be kidding me and he said sorry it’s not a joke so I told him if you’re not going to honor your sale price I don’t want it So I went down the road less than a mile went in to wal mart they had the exact same AC except wal marts AC wasn’t remand and the price was $144.00 so I bought it Be very careful and watch the prices no matter where you are shopping because in my opinion Ollies sale paper was a bate and switch scam do your home work when you go into these stores remember corporate goals are to make as much profit as possible and if that means baiting you and switching the price at the register that’s what they will do
