Elvis had no choice he was conscripted... however the USA and other Western countries held mass protests against conscription!!! And Olivia is clout chasing... To be honest this is changing my view of Taehyung but not in a positive way, I am fundamentally against military training and what it represents, as are most Westerners. The West is strongly against conscription and mandatory service in any form. To me & many Westerners peace is what should be promoted not war (it should be noted other Western Countries & Europeans are not enamoured by the USA or their spread of military bases). I'd be proud if the BTS members took a stand against forced enlistment, acquiescence is nothing to be proud of, in my opinion, and I am extremely annoyed, with HYBE & the Sth Korean Government, that Taehyung & BTS members being used to promote mandatory military service!! Massive protests were held in the West against forced enlistment, it is not viewed as a positive action, but quite negatively. It also goes very much against the message of BTS which is primarily the promotion of peace and acceptance.

Вы не правы , у них нет выбора. Это не Америка , сколько примеров, что даже наказывают , за отклонение от армии . Вы думаете просто так плакал такой сильный лидер РМ, их самих ситуация с армией доконала . И у Кореи соседи , которые в любой момент может напасть и население страны , их не так много . Был уже случай с популярным айдолом, который уехал в Америку и возврата в Корею ему нет, хотя прошло много лет . Я не желала бы такой доли БТС, чтобы их считали дезертирами и предателями .У Кореи свои законы, устои и не нам советовать, как им жить.

I am sorry, but you're talking nonsense here. The thing is, this is not about the USA. It's about South korea, and the military service is an obligation over there. I don't even think the government is using them for promoting military service because it's still an obligation even though they did or not. The thing is, the BTS members are like everybody else in South Korea, and they had to do their military service. And it's a bit annoying, I know, but it's just because I'm a bit worried about them. For them, it's their job to do it for the country. I still understand what you're saying, but remember, it's not the USA.

How very arrogant and ignorant of you. What would you do if someone is threatening to blow up your child, parent or loved one? Would you offer them cupcakes and peace signs? Would you not find ways to protect them? Well, that is exactly N Korea's stance against S Korea and they are still essentially at war. Nobody wants to go to war but training and preparation is essential in case it actually does happen. BTS members do not want to go to war but they know it is necessary so they do with with pride, honor and excellence. BTW, I am in the West and your views definitely do not represent mine so please don't assume to speak for "most Westerners."
