Some may think that this song is so easy to sing but it's the exact opposite. Her style of singing in this song is quite risky for bad vocal breaks. It's high and chesty which is difficult and she's brilliant in her falsetto and whispers, it gives the song its personal touch and deep emotion. What a story teller too!

Relatable. I sing this in my Saturday music class. It is very hard to keep your chest voice in the “Red Lights, Stop Signs” part. Sometimes I can sing that part with chest voice when I’m sometimes alone or practicing. Maintaining your vocals in the song is a bit hard for some people. I suggest to keep practicing ALWAYS REMEMBER AND I ALWAYS SAY THIS: “PRACTICE MAKES ✨ PERFECT ✨😁💅”

She may not be the most overpowering vocalist.. but no other artist can put as much emotion into every word she sings like her. She truly knows how to keep you engaged.

People say "without autotune" so much like lol. The only pop star i ever saw who actually uses autotune live is Charlie XCX and she uses it deliberately

The few times I've heard this song, to hear it live for the first time.. I felt that from beginning to end. That was more than a story, that came from her heart & soul.

1st time listening, feel nothing. 2nd time, still nothing. After 7 times, i really feel the vibe of losing someone who we loves more than ourselves. Really felt it !

No fancy background vocals, visuals, dancers or auto tune. At only 18 years of age, performing in front of the biggest and greatest artists in the industry and she still hit every note perfectly🤯. Ridiculously talented!

That' is her best time i.heard her sing that song the raw emotion is real An she has beautiful voice.

You can tell she was nervous af to be perfomirng in such a huge event, but considering this is live vocals she still delivered. In a few years she’ll be a pro. Her vocal foundation is so much better than other artists older than her 👍🏼

One of the best live performances I've seen.. Not as easy as she makes it looks, Trained or Pure Talent vocals.

I’m never getting over this performance. Theres so many emotions in it. Shes so, so talented

Yea we could tell she didn’t have autotune.. kinda disappointed because the song in general isn’t hard to sing expect the high notes which is what makes it unique, but then when I saw she couldn’t hit the notes in real life like in the studio I was disappointed.

@iiPhyricii damn it’s fair criticism, it’s not a bad thing. Her “belting” sounded more like yelling, but could’ve been because her voice was strained. She was mainly just very pitchy in the bridge of the song.
