Olivia Rodrigo Joins Billy Joel for Uptown Girl Duet
Billy Joel was joined onstage by popstar Olivia Rodrigo for a duet of his 80s hit Uptown Girl and Rodrigo’s own Deja Vu during a concert at Madison Square Garden on August 24.
Footage by Tammy Cantor shows Joel and Rodrigo singing Joel’s 1983 hit.
Rolling Stone magazine reported that Joel had introduced Rodrigo while playing the intro to her 2021 song Deja Vu, which features references to Uptown Girl.
