Back in the 80's I hated this song. It was on the radio non-stop. I wanted fast pop songs yet this was always on air. Remember, we didn't have streaming back then. What was on air was what we heard. Now that I'm in my 50's, this song is awesome. I love it!

Nancy that was simply incredible! ONJ has always been my number one artist and Magic is my absolute favorite of all her songs. I'm awestruck that you've managed to replicate her vocals so perfectly it is virtually impossible to tell the difference. I didn't think that was possible. I'd love to hear your tribute show someday.

That was magic! I'm so glad you're still putting stuff out there, and I don't know why the KZread algorithm took three months to notify me. Did you know that almost all of Olivia Newton John's huge hits, including this one, were written by a man named John Farrar? There's a video on KZread called '"Magic" - Making of Xanadu John Farrar, Olivia Newton-John, Jeff Lynne (1980)' It's a professionally done documentary and shows Olivia, Jeff Lynne, and John Farrar discussing the Xanadu music.
