Or go back to the Great Valley with his grandparents who raised him his entire life and the friends who’ve stuck with him through his hardest times. Littlefoot made the right choice in the end. His grandparents and friends were his real family.

Though the sequels weren't pretty good and tried to be like Disney, The Land Before Time X was a pretty good chapter in the series.

I remember when she recorded this in Las Vegas. She mentioned it during a concert. Our earthy angel is now free to fly and help all of us in her own special way. Thank you Olivia for all the kindness, caring and love you blessed us with. You will always be my friend and one day we will meet again.

I feel the same about the first dog I ever had named Jessie. I can still remember the day he died. I was in third grade and he was getting old. My parents warned me it may be time to put him to sleep. I'll never forget how upset I was and when I said goodbye to him as I prepared to leave for school.

This should be a graduation song. It is so lovely and hearfelt.

Flashback.. Yeah i know i watch this when i was 5 years old and now i'm 19.

Olivia is such an incredible talent! One of the best EVER!!!! Her voice in this song is sublime...angelic. She evokes such emotion; tears, sadness, happiness, longing, a warmth to the heart, and an awe all at once. It's clear to see why she has stood the test of time and has had great success over 5 decades. Beautiful song!

Holy Shit! Grease and Land Before Time?! YEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

This is so touching, it's one of those songs that tugs at the heart strings and which we can all relate to. And I love Olivia's voice in this. She looks great too!

This song reminds me of a friend I had as a little kid, he moved away and died of illness less than 2 years later. RIP Matthew, love you 4EVER Buddy, although the years have flown by I know I'll see you someday in heaven. We WILL meet again and when we do you'll still be my bestest friend in the whole wide world

The song sung by the dinosaurs in the film is more impactful, because they all have angelic voices that contribute to Littlefoot’s decision. What I’m saying is, the fact that it’s sung by the characters hits harder than any cover could ever do, because when it’s his actual friends saying that we’ll always be your best friends, it makes the song mean more when sing by the dinos who are trying to comfort him.

The two lead songs to me are: If We Hold on Together (Theme from the LBT 1) and Best of Friends/Bestest Friends (LBT 10 Theme for the 10th movie) Love them all.

It's amazing that they had such a heartfelt song in a fairly young LBT movie.

I like how the first movie which had Littlefoot’s mom had the beautiful song “If we hold on together” while the 10th film which had Littlefoot’s dad had the equally beautiful song “Bestest Friends”

Livvy probably did this film and song for the soundtrack because her daughter Chloe back then was coming out of her childooh and becoming a grown up woman in high school and was her way of expressing herself in song about leaving childhood into adulthood.

As soon as my mom mentioned her I thought of this song. She made my favorite song from the Land before Time series and I didn’t even really get who she was until now. It’s a shame she’s gone.
