I love Evanescence and was excited to see this. Listening to it sounded off. I went back and listened to Evanescene’s version and I feel Amy Lee sings it slower and is breathier. Evanescence’s version has more depth, sounds more raw where as this version sounds more pop like every other song, it seems to come out as an up tempo and higher pitch song. I would love to see someone to say Baba O’Riley by The Who, or Seether, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park some of their songs have more range, emotion and power than most pop songs if song right.

Amy has always been very breathy when singing, which I never cared for. I think she has gotten a bit better over the years, but I would still love to hear a version of Amy singing this song, without all of that.

It's such a hard to sing, I think she did a nice job. For me instrumental ruined the song for me, it sounds like a cheap karaoke and pitch didn't fit her vocal... The Voice 2023 (Germany) from last week Egon Hernleben vs Susan Albers's version had some epic symphonic metal sound, which was way better.

Yes, Sheena was really good... Look up 'Rockstar Supernova Storm Large'... It was a competition (pre voice). IMO, that girl knocked it out of the park!

What an incredibly difficult song choice. Almost certainly the most brave choice I've seen on The Voice, and it totally worked. Might have been a bit TOO accurate, but it's hard to say that's a knock for this. Excellent performance

She did good for a chest voice singer. I still think a singer should only sing this song in mix or head voice. It doesn't sound nice when they lower the ekey and sing it in chest voice. It lowers the ethereal effect of the song.

Phenomenal! Not an easy task to cover Amy Lee.

The pitch was slightly off at times.

This is the first over ever that I've heard of this song. It wasn't bad

She has a great voice but this song was too much for her unfortunately. Not many people can pull this off like Amy Lee. I just think it was a bad song choice for her vocals. It's interesting to see how people hear different things... Some parts were great but she is definitely struggling on some notes. I also think her voice was drowned out by the band.

I totally agree. It sounded like she was trying overcompensate in some places and it was forced. Other place it sounded like she was trying to inset a rif to cover up missing the note. She has potential, and this is a difficult song, but this was just not as good of a performance as it could have been for several reasons. It's too bad.

Made me realize ive been taking Amy lee's vocals for granted. Not an easy song to sing.

Tough song to pull off, especially when Amy Lee's vocals on the original is untouchable

This is a very hard song to sing and I applaud the effort for sure. A little too thin of a voice for the thickness of the song IMO, and the mix was fighting against her in parts, but she's got a lot of range and heart.

When I hear others sing this song I realize how difficult of a song it is to sing & Amy Lee makes it look effortless in Evanescence

Vocals are good, but I'd hardly describe this as haunting. What Amy Lee did with it was haunting

I didn't like it... it was off key even with key help from audio... she probably sounded better in person though. This is usually how it is at performances and karaoke. But the true audio was good but not what the title suggests. Wrong song choice....
