I think it’s absolutely valid to acknowledge their feelings of disappointment, and not downplay them. I also think, it’s important to remind them how lucky we are that we caught it early and we get the opportunity to help keep other more vulnerable people safe. I know it’s such a hard balance to strike and I struggle with my own girls as well. Stay safe, and keep the ice cream coming!

My 12 year old was exposed at school and got her first positive test this weekend along with my 5 year old and I. So far the rest of the family has avoided it (5 others). Feel better soon Olivia!!❤️‍🩹

That's what us mommas do we sacrifice our health to take care of our babies!!! I caught covid from my son after taking care of him and I wouldn't have done things any different. You are a great momma for letting Olivia hang out with you! 🤗

My sister (in her late 30s) had Covid & suffered for about a month...she felt like she was dying & had to quarantine alone in her condo. Now often she gets brain fog & can't walk as long as she used to (she feels extremely tired and a bit out of breath). Also my aunt had passed away with Covid & other health complications. Am truly praying for Olivia's speedy recovery, and also that the family doesn't get sick along with Covid somehow miraculously disappearing from the world asap. My cousins son tested positive and they are all quarantined! So far they are doing good! We lost so many loved ones that we have known! It’s been so heartbreaking! Glad you’re all doing well!

Feel better. My husband got Covid almost 3 weeks ago. It took me exactly 7 days to catch it from him. We both had very mild symptoms. I had the worst sinus headache and low fever. Hubby had no fever but a cough.

I hope she feels better. We are on the end of week 2 of quarantine here. Last week we had to quarantine due to possible exposure and this week we had to quarantine because my husband got it. So he has been quarantined in our bedroom this whole week while I've been sleeping on the couch and taking care of our two little kids(ages 7 and 2). Both my kids have now missed 2 weeks of school and I've missed 2 weeks of work. So far no one else has gotten it. Praying for you guys!

My family currently has Covid at the moment too. We avoided it for 2 years as well. We had tried so hard to ensure my toddler never got sick and that I hadn’t contracted it during my pregnancy. However I’m just grateful that now we have it, we are doing okay and recovering nicely. I hope you are all doing well too.
