This compilation is mainly for anyone who wants to watch scenes of this character/actor, but doesn’t own this show on DVD or doesn't have access to a streaming platform like Hulu or Amazon Prime Video, where they could just watch this TV show whenever they want.
If you're into psychology & true crime, this character and season of American Horror Story may also be interesting for you to watch or revisit. The writing and acting in Asylum was (overall) phenomenal, in my humble opinion. This was actually the first fictional character & show that piqued my own interest in psychology & mental health, so I gotta give credit where credit is due. A decade later, Asylum continues to be my comfort season, as strange as that is to say.
Asylum gets pretty dark and bizarre (that's to be expected with AHS lol), and there's a lot going on. Some of it didn't age...well. But I think it's wonderful, and Zachary Quinto absolutely killed it in this role as Dr. Thredson (all the actors killed it). Would recommend, 100% ✔. You didn't ask for a review, but here you go anyway, this show's great (when it wants to be) lol.

For those of you who've watched Asylum in its entirety, were you expecting the big twist at the end of episode 5 or did it come as a surprise? Also, no, I haven't changed this thumbnail 20 times already, you're imagining things lol

@Obsolete Tutorials same. i first watched asylum when i was abt 12, and i didn't pay close enough attention the first time around to even pick up on the more obvious hints, like the lampshade (i didn't realize there were nipples either lol). funny now, considering it's been my favorite season over the years. oh, also, as i said in my description, i'm currently making a music playlist inspired by this season for the channel. the video may not come out for a while since i've been procrastinating the crap out of it. but if you'd be interested in watching it when it comes out, as a fellow fan/viewer of AHS, i'd really appreciate it :) edit: just realized something. thank you for being the first person to ever comment under one of my videos 🤍

@Mimi MooMoo Yeah. I like how the writers planted the seeds, so if you didn't catch on the first time but maybe rewatched some of the earlier scenes after the reveal, you can see how almost everything Thredson did during the first four episodes were ultimately serving some more sinister, ulterior motive and how a lot of clues were pointing towards either him or Dr. Arden.

@@theobservablemind Definitely. It is always fun to rewatch and see those small clues. Anyways I didn't like at all how they slowly turned him into a boring character by changing his personality to make him sound crazy. I mean he was crazy but it kind of ended as a stereotype
the writing in this season was so tops

@Papa III's used towel ah, okay. yea, i agree. the character's actions in this show (although smart, when he's not being impulsive) are awful & irredeemable ofc, but the actor is cute imo. i love the glasses he wears in this show. very beautiful man, that one lol

@Papa III's used towel Yeah lmao, the concept of having attractive people play murderers (fictional or otherwise) is strange to think abt. Very nuanced, especially when fans & social media are involved. Thankfully, Ryan & the other writers made Thredson different enough from murderers like Ed Gein & Ted Bundy that I don't think fans online romanticize real-life killers specifically bc of how Oliver was portrayed in AHS, or at least I haven't seen it. I see Thredson as more of an intriguing character than a scary one too. Not that he can't be both ofc, he's a disturbed incel that I'd be terrified to encounter irl lol. But he's interesting to observe with morbid curiosity, from a psychological perspective. (edit: especially since he's an intelligent & rather forward thinking psychiatrist himself) We didn't spend much time getting into Arden's psyche, so he's just a creepy, racist N@zi to me, not much intrigue or sympathy there lol. And yea (I'm not into kink shaming unless said "kink" is illegal), if caregiver/little or mommy dom/little boy dynamics among consenting adults suit your fancy, I can definitely see why Oliver's mommy kink (in itself, minus the criminal, nonconsensual behavior) would be considered hot. Sorry if this was long, you got me thinking at almost 2 in the morning lol :)

Havent watched any ahs related stuff since 2018 and this popped up in my recommendations. Man ive missed this show alot especially season 1-3 oliver is my favorite character in ahs ughhh bringing me back memories.

I noticed there weren't many scene packs of Sister Mary Eunice that were longer than 5 minutes and spanned over her entire character arc. There _is_ a good 5 minute long compilation by a channel called ctrlhoax (they've made a bunch of AHS scene packs, if you're interested in checking them out). But if you'd like to watch a compilation that was longer, and included more scenes from her than are currently available here on KZread (because you just want to watch more scenes with her or need specific clips for fan edits), I could probably have it uploaded soon enough. I will need to be careful with how I cut the scenes together, of course, because of copyright and all that jazz. If there are any particular scenes you'd like me to include, let me know, and I'll try my best to make sure they're there. The scenes may be trimmed down, though, fair warning. Thanks for the request, btw. I haven't forgotten about this channel. But I forget there are a select few people out there probably wondering why I'm inactive lol. Gonna try to post more this year.

Ah, I see 😌. No, I'm not that Redditor, them and I just happen to have chosen the same profile picture. I can understand the correlation, though. The profile picture is of an anime girl (not sure if it's an original drawing by someone or an image of an actual anime/manga character but I'm not the artist who created the image, sadly lol). I just picked this picture out of a bunch of other random anime girl images on Google because I thought she looked pretty lol, and bared a slight resemblance to what I look like irl (only the face shape, skin tone, and hair color, I mean) since I plan to remain rather anonymous on here. I _do_ have a Reddit account that I'll lurk on occasionally, but I just dress up the avatar they give you by default (I personally think it's fun to) and haven't posted anything about politics on there. I'm not related to the Reddit account you stumbled across, but it _is_ a funny coincidence lol. Also, odd, not sure if KZread's just being dumb and lagging but I don't see your most recent reply under this video.
